    I find it hilarious that he states he has zero interest in just being different.

    Yet they continue to do stupid shit like whatever that UI was they slapped on top of Gnome 3, or Wayland, or... whatever the next one is (I can't recall exactly)

    I've got the Professional at home. Labels are nice for me because of those relatively rarely used symbols (such as &) I can never keep straight, and there's nobody I'd want to keep off the machine that good habits like locking the session don't solve.

    At work I have a classic no-label Das Keyboard. It's showing it's age (if it had labels, they would be worn off by now). Coworkers love it.

    Best keyboards I've ever owned.

    I can't even see what the thing looks like from those thumbnails, and nowhere is there an explanation as to what "Classic 104" is vs "Ultra 104" and the like.

    I just found this which should go a long way. A good part of the reason I couldn't get into it was the horrible chicken-scratch handwriting font they used everywhere.

    I was never able to get into TLJ like I was with Torment.

    I just could not connect with the character, or the world she seemed to live in.

    I'll give it another try soon, because these comparisons are suggesting to me that I have really missed out on a gem.

    Most people never witness any violence throughout their whole lives.

    That's not specific to the UK, either. Plenty of folks here in the US never see violence outside of TV and the like.

    WTF is it with people thinking an IT guy can get their car started?

    Most folks in IT are very good at working with complicated systems. Cars are complicated systems, it just takes a bit of mental flexibility to attack the problem.

    The difference is primarily between abstract and physical, but it's really not that much of a stretch if you approach it from a systems perspective.
