  1. Re:We need telephone sanitizers on Self Cleaning Mouse · · Score: 1

Which is why you get a self-cleaning phone before sending telephone sanitizers off on the B ark.

I'd say that the ancient myths were pretty much the original fantasy.

Have you tried Linux? That worked quite well for me. :)

50 cent is the antithesis of actual music. Then again, you're probably the AC who responded to one of my posts with one saying that 50 Cent was better than Audioslave.

  5. Re:Other things that have ripple effects. on Hollywood Says Piracy Has Ripple Effect · · Score: 1

You're conflating arguments, nothing was said about piracy.
I've never seen a good rebuttal to the fact that CD sales went way up during Napster. In fact, when CD sales went down so did illegal downloads. Only thing that went up was legal downloads like iTunes.

It's more legitimate than calling George Lucas's changes rape. At least George Lucas didn't change the message(if Han were really supposed to be badass Greedo wouldn't've been armed) or anything like what Nintendo did.

Console - the Father; remember that the first mainstream electronic games were not PCs in any sense.
Nor were they anything close to modern consoles. They were much closer to the PC considering they had a keyboard interface.

Considering that I don't like beer at all, a prize.

  9. Re:Longest running? on Doctor Who Makes Guinness Book of World Records · · Score: 1

Because by winning in general Doctor Who was disqualified from winning the consecutive award.

  10. Re:Not true, it is science fiction... on Doctor Who Makes Guinness Book of World Records · · Score: 1

The "Sci-Fi" channel is horribly named as it seems to like playing bad horror movies and ECW better than actual science fiction.

From what I understand, that can only happen a finite number of times.

  17. Re:Ripple effect? on Hollywood Says Piracy Has Ripple Effect · · Score: 1

No, it's more like this Ripple Effect. Don't you see, piracy will make dozens of alternate-universe SG-1s to come into our universe!

  20. Re:Longest running? on Doctor Who Makes Guinness Book of World Records · · Score: 1

204 SG-1 episodes have been shown so far, 214 will be the full set now that Sci-Fi has decided it wants to phase out MGM-produced Stargate. My guess as to why Who didn't win the consecutive category(even with the old Who) is that it already won so it can't win twice.

  21. Re:Here Here on Doctor Who Makes Guinness Book of World Records · · Score: 1

It was either some accounting error or that by winning generally they got disqualified from winning more specific contests.
