    There are technical reasons that an AM radio can't be done--specifically, it has to have a much larger antenna.

    All it has going for it over the iPod(except the lovely brown color!) is the filesharing thing, which not only is poorly concieved to begin with, is locked down with overrestrictive DRM and won't even be any useful until there's enough people with the Zune.

    It's missed because something causes the child to mess up. Things don't just happen, they happen for a reason. Just blaming "the kid" doesn't get us anywhere.

    Just think about it. Suppose you're listening to something good, like Audioslave, and then some asshole sends you a crappy rap song from some hack like 50 Cent. Knowing Microsoft, it will immediately switch to the crappy rap song. And if you happen to like whatever song was sent...sorry, you can only listen to it 3 times. At that point you sell your Zune to some other pawn and buy an iPod.

    Notice that iTunes is no longer Mac-only, Firewire is no longer a necessity, and the iPod is no longer four hundred dollars.

    Just because consoles have finally learned to partially emulate the full richness of PC gaming(you console people think Halo is good for crying out loud, go play a real game like PC HL2) you think PCs are dead? All the best games are on the PC.
