What kind of system you running that TNT2 on?? I have a 1.4gig Tbird, 512mb RAM, geforce2 card, and gta3 runs like a dog in linux & win. It's only playable during some sequences, it's waaaay to choppy while cruising the city.
You're doing something wrong, I had no problems getting WC3 to install or to play it (w/ their release or the latest cvs). Try the WC3 forum on transgaming's site to get some help:
yeah, same here. one was running at the end of FOTR back in march (4 minute trailer, IIRC). I can't tell if this is the same one, as the site's been/.'ed
ok, let's just keep in mind that many SW fans (freaks?) had a bad taste in their mouth from Episode I. yes, spider-man made more money the first weekend, but this is the first spider-man movie ever. fans have been waiting 30+ (?) years for it. let's see if spider-man 5 makes as much money as episode II, that would be a fair comparison. i dunno if spider-man can make 5 great movies, i keep having flashbacks of Batman & Robin (4th in the series, probably the last).
Dude! MASK rocked! I was more into V.E.N.O.M (the baddies) than M.A.S.K (good guys). I wish I had more still around, but when I hit my early teen years, a friend of mine introduced me to the wonders of WD-40 and a lighter. Between homemade blowtorches and M-80s, I destroyed the majority of my toys. Oh well, you live and learn.
The governer actucal has to sign off on the execution of inmates.. I don't care what you say; That can't be an easy thing to do.
well, if i recall correctly, more people were executed during G.W.'s time as governor of Texas than any governor before him (correct me if i'm wrong), that's how he earned his prestiguous nickname "The Texecutioner". Seems to me it was a pretty easy thing for him to do.
still doesn't beat open source bug to patch turn around time, but still 3 days isn't bad. i recall some M$ bugs not being fixed for quite a long time. all in all, it doesn't excuse M$ for sucking so bad.
since when does the average pc user need a dual processor system anyway? single processor mobo's can be had for $100. dual processor systems are primarily aimed at server applications.
this is great, now that they have cheaper/better/faster processor's than Intel for the desktop, AMD can tap into the server market, where the real money is to be made.
man, i figured palm was pretty much dead, given how fast their stock has been plummeting. now with this acquisition, anyone else think that palm will be here to stay? will they give up their own os and embed beos onto new palms? only time will tell. very interesting though...
no way! chess as an olympic sport? guess the geeks have to get in somehow. I'm still awaiting freestyle walking, dwarf tossing and log rolling to become olympic sports.
oh man, ham fests! brings back memories. i used to go to these w/ my father and older bro and some friends (howard county fairgrounds, right off i70). i remember buying all sorts of great sh*t..er..stuff! the best was an original intellivision w/ wood grain, got it home, and it didnt work...damnit. that taught us not to buy electronics from these suckers. best thing about the ham fests were the cheap discounted games. i remember bringing home many a good sierra games, hero's quest and Space Quest 3 were the ones i remember the most. anyone know if ham fests are still in the DC area? i'd love to check one out again. aight, that's enough reminiscing.
The reason why sircam is not being publicized nearly as much as code red is because...M$ owns the media. They wrote the code red "virus" and sent it out, simply to get their name in the media, and even better, that they worked hard at making a patch available before the "attack" was supposed to happen. This is just more publicity for M$, and they are loving every minute of it.

that's it, it's over. napster is dead. abandoning a standard.mp3 format to switch to a proprietary.nap format is the nail in the proverbial coffin. let's just bury napster and embrace gnutella.

If you want GTA3 to run perfectly, get a PS2. The PC version is one of the "worst ports ever" (simpson's-comic-book-guy-voice).

you think that drivers talking on cell phones is bad? wait until they get their hands on this phone and try to type messages while driving.

yeah, but make sure there isn't a security camera watching you use the library's computer.
