The reason why you only see IE on public computers is b/c it is the most compatible browser in terms of usability (I mean in the case of it actually functioning, even so that is rare). I bet that any library with public computers that uses mozilla would have to hire an extra person to show people the advantages. Now if some people from the/. crowd would volunteer an hour every week and do this, I'm sure you will find some open arms somewhere in your community. What a great way to spread open source!
I can attest to Kirby-meister's willingness to go the extra mile to get some smash brother's loving! For years he tried to get me to play, and only rarely has he succeeded. When he did, he kicked my ass.
I'm trying to watch some of those video playlists. Unfortunately, there is always this buffer time between videos. It would be a lot more enjoyable if it started buffering the next video while it showes the current one. Also, every time the clip changes, the player popos into the forgound, which is also annoying. Nontheless, a very neat way to epxress some ideas!
Ah, that's why they are humaniod! In today's world, everything we design, we design for humans. Doorhandls, Cars, Switches, Dishwashers, Phones, Pens, Steps, Ladders,... all designed for humans. If you want ONE robot to use all the things that allready exist, then that robot will look very similar to us.
Does anyone know of any applications that are nativly voice activated (other than games)? It would be kind of cool to have "voice activaited dialing" in a browser to go to your bookmarks, or lets say a voice activated calculater. Once those apps become more standard, we can think of doing more complex tasks.
You said it yourself! It is america's freedom, and in particular, its intention of spreading that freedom to all the people around the globe, that gives terrorists their motivation. If the US has any rights to go to Israel or the Persian Gulf, or any other place in the world to spread democracy and human rights is a good thing or not, doesn't matter here. The terrorists goal is to stop that action by extinquishing it at its roots, and we are almost "helping" them do so. This is very much like the plot in 1984, actually!
So will you still be allowed to wear hats or other facial coverings, so that you can't be identified by those cameras? Or would that be ruled as "unpatriotic" and grounds to be arrested?
I'm german, but not a Nazi. And maybe that explains why my english isn't up to paar. At least I don't go around assuming everyone speaks englsih as their first lanquage, and call them Nazis. I think that's rude.
If you use a spam filter, you sould not have to worry about it. You are not exposed to more kinds of spam, just more instances. And since spam filters currently have no issue with volume, you should be ok.
NBC is owned by GE, which in turn owns GE Energy. With the resent history of power outages on July 13 in Grece, I wonder how they back up against that?

Isn't it mathimatically flawed to use mathematical terms such as subset when trying to show how math relate to games?
The only mathematical method I know where using the premise during a logical argument is valid, is in an induction proof, and that's what I asked to begin with.
ESPN actually covered MATHCOUNTS for an entire hour, and also had reruns of the same. So by your own example, it would mean that math IS a sport.

And don't even think about saying that Chess is a sport!
Chess:
A board game for two players, each beginning with 16 pieces of six kinds that are moved according to individual rules, with the objective of checkmating the opposing king.
I don't know if you can increase your market share by just increasing the number of phones you offer. Sure you become more customiced to different market segments, but I doubt that's why they have been loosing those 5% market share in recent years. Things like warranty, reputation, simplicity (including available selection!), and customer centricity are more likely to have contributed to Nokia's recent slide, and more phones only fixes a few of those problems.

So all you are saying is that the terrorists didn't need to do anything to win.
So will you still be allowed to wear hats or other facial coverings, so that you can't be identified by those cameras? Or would that be ruled as "unpatriotic" and grounds to be arrested?
"will be able to zoom in from their work stations to gather details of facial descriptions or read license plates""
Somehow this tells me the terrorists won

why don't you post your E-mail addy here, and that should be good enough of a try!

if you RTFA, you find this quote:
What about beer pong
The article actually explores a whole bunch of other claimed "sports" and the thin line that seems to seperate sports from games.
Personally, I want to see Beer Pong in the olympics, but with NO BLOWING!
it is at least a subset of games
Are you doing some proof by induction here or what?

Yes,
if ANY OS needs sound configured when it comes out of the box, it is not newbie friendly. That is exacly what I said.
just my 2 cents
That will give a whole new meaning when someone goes Phising on your computer!
