If a construction company builds a bridge with defects that causes it to fall on someone, that someone can sue them.
If a software company makes an insecure product, and someone gets pwned because of it, that should be allowed to sue for damages.
Yes security holes aren't easy to find in big products, but it should never be an excuse for a company (especially those that make billions, wink wink) for them to release unsafe products.
That by doing so, you could be held liable under piracy laws.
Ask them for a signed letter in which they remove all the blame from you and take it all upon themselves.
You'll be installing OO in no time! (Or maybe eve better, your boss is going to get sued/fired. Profit!)

They way I look at it, all the DRMing thing is financed by that 1% alone. The only drawback for the implementers of ACCs & DRM in general is that they look like idiots/assholes, but guess what, with billions coming in, I think they got used to that and dont really care anymore...
