Back to using IE on Windows, then. Firefox as it is isn't exactly light-speed (ever compared it to Safari on OS X? It's a dog...), but with the recent improvements in IE7 and the nice spyware bundle with Firefox... looks like MS wins the browser wars, again.
Wow. I composed a post where I said it probably didn't apply to BMWs sedans and how everythng would be much better... Then I found this - http://ipodyourbmw.com/
I agree. I read the books and by accident stumbled on the game in 2003. Best two weeks of my life evers spent. The game is so good that after a while you don't notice you're playing a game made for DOS. Just more proof that glitzy graphics a game make do not.
Gee I hope Motorola execs start biting their knuckles sometime soon. Those knuckleheads managed to spin off what's probably the last innovative and profitable division they had. Now they just make crappy phones.
Now doing 30 in a residential-ish area and looking at a map... but everytime I have to do that while going 60 on a highway, while being honked by passing traffic (you're going to slow! fuck speed limit signs... go 80!), I promise myself never to do that again... until the next time, of course.
Files aren't burned in alphabetical order. They are burned in the order they were put into the ISO9660 or UDF filesystem, which is really filesystem generation utility-specific...
Its complete BS. Besides, if anything, the US is the last place on Earth desiring Russia in the WTO, so I wouldn't be surprised if more of these pseudo-"reasons" for not joining WTO crop up.
I use AllOfMP3. It's the only place I can buy Russian music. I don't give a damn about the RIAA-sponsored shit they also peddle. In the end, it's legal for me, as a Russian citizen, to buy RUSSIAN music from a russian site. Assholes.
The iPod already does that, out of the box. You can even get at all the music (its inside a "hidden" folder), although its placed in a way convenient to the firmware and not the user (but who cares,... just drag and drop... thats what ID3 tags are for).
Uh, Redhat doesn't make routers. That said... any Linux system can perform in that capacity and there is nothing that dinstiguishes Redhat from its competition.
By all means, do use a WinCE/WM200X-targetted GCC (which does work... if you're willing to put up with weird issues since almost no one is working on that port). No one (not even MS) is stopping you.
I second this. I, in fact, did this very same thing to get rid of some DRM. Yes, I recorded with an insane sampling rate, and I encoded at a pretty high rate.. and honestly? It sounds good enough. Was it worth it? Hard to say. I hate that tune now and I can't stand listening to it anymore. Can you do it? Yes.
Actually, RSX-11M, VMS and WNT were all designed as Multiuser systems by CORPORATIONS (DEC, DEC, Microsoft) for BUSINESS USERS (and incidentally, by David Cutler in the case of all 3).

Heh. What's the point of trying to explain something to an idiot?
I love reading pie-in-the-sky ideas from people who have a very vague understanding of what happens inside their computer.
If you can't grok an INI file anf use dd...then you're not a power user. You're a tool.
r . Dude you suck.
whaa whaa whaa, Mr. Uses-a*GUI*-Linux-tool-to-configure-the-bootloade
What do you mean by "switching in/out" of VT mode? Turning it on and off? Why would you want to do that?

Yeah its an abomination. Shudder.
Loadlin and its Win9x relative are as much history as the DOS-based Windows.

You meant to type Joliet, not Juliet. And... pffft... Joliet? Rockridge all the way...

Nice Revisionism, Forbes. I forget... what *is* it that HP does these days, besides manufacturing printers, toner cartridges and PC clones, that is?
Yeah definitely. Very distracting.

Interesting idea with the PAR2 files though.
Btw, MAC doesn't mean what you think it does, either.
Media Access Control address (MAC address). (wtf is a Machine Access Code?)

Aeto pyat'.
40th time is a charm.
Heheh. That's great.
Beats getting Paris ground into the ground.
Hahahaha you're clearly insane. Nation firewall sort of thing right? Kind of like what China has?
Freedom and Democracy my ass.

No research background behind VMS.
