Quickly? How is this Quick? There was a two day lag. We're able to detect nuclear explosions instantaniously. Perhaps the military knew about it right away, and this is the first the public is hearing about it. I just think it is too big of a coincidence that there is a 2 mile diameter mushroom cloud on North Korea's anniversary, that it is anything but a nuclear test.

Now with broadband being so popular, and still on the rise, is this really an issue?

Yes, it is. I just switced to broadband less than two months ago. A lot of my friends are still on dialup. Also, do not forget rural areas which do not have access to broadband. You would be surprised how many people still have dialup, I believe the number of broadband users just recently surpassed the number of dialup users. This means, obviously, that nearly half of all internet users are still on dialup.

  19. Re:I was just there... on Biometrics at the Statue of Liberty · · Score: 1

All and all it felt a bit like overkill, but considering that the statue is probably one of the most important symbols of America, it makes sense to so heavily gaurd it.

Not only is it an important symbol of America, it is more importantly a symbol of American freedom. If we don't have the freedom to go into the statue, or even just the pedestal without being watched like kindergarteners, where's the freedom? After going through multiple metal detectors, X-Ray machines, and explosive detectors, what is a terrorist going to do, start a fight? The only threat to the statue itself is explosives, and any amount of explosives that can be strapped to a chest will not be enough to damage the statue.

We need to stop worrying so much, what's the point in going there if you're going to have your freedom restricted? If terrorists are intent on attacking the Statue of Liberty, they will find a way. We mind as well make good use of it and be thankful that we still have it.

Of course in my review I mentioned how little kids are stupid and I don't feel sorry for kaite, so mine should not have been pulled. I assume amazon.com didn't even bother to make sure the one and two star reviews were all protest reviews, because as i was going through them earlier i spotted at least three or four legitimate reviews that were one or two stars.
