Gimme a break. every fucking accident results in 20 emergency calls; now it will be 22. Who the fuck needs this? Some asshole politician's cousin that has a business making emergency call car phones that's who. Piss on it.
This is where the free market will shake out the losers. We had a guy at my company who spent nearly two years here and probably only wrote 100 lines of code. If my boss weren't such a nice guy he would have been gone in two weeks. The point is, in the free market if you can't perform you don't get paid. The sad part of this is these kids are screwing themselves both out of an education and a future revenue stream.
I was a submarine Electronics technician back when we were taught component level trouble shooting and repair. I have fixed gear when there were no repair parts on board because I understood the principals of electronics. I was taught a great deal of theory and gear specific knowledge by the Navy but I learned a great deal of practical, make it work, electronics from the cheep little radio shack books "Radio Shack Engineer's Mini Notebook"
I see then on ebay now and then they're cheep, they will get you started with both simple theory and projects that promote success and further experimentation.
This is not a kit but you can buy a breadboard and some wire and some cheap parts to get you started.
Good luck!
Invest in a couple of pyramid schemes. Use someone else's sure fire gambling formula. Try to buy a bank owned house. These are some of life's wonderful skepticism teachers. Or, you could do what my dad did, "pull my finger", or "here touch this spark plug, I don't think it's working". Ahhhh good times.
I don't think you even need to go into religion. Most thinking humans would agree that we must hold human life sacred if for no other reason than to protect your own. An embryo is a human life. A sperm is not, and neither for that matter is an unfertilized egg. researchers will tell you that this type of experimentation can lead to cures for diseases but at what cost? We sacrifice the most innocent so that some 80 year old billionaire can get a boner or eek out a few more years of his wretched life on earth because he's so afraid that dieing is the end or that he will actually have to face his fate. This is like spending your kids food money on blow.
I went to a heavy engineering college and was given a wealth of knowledge in Mathematics, algorithms and computer/programming theory. It was hard, I'm not a great mathematician and the competition was fierce. I have friends that went to less difficult schools where they were taught languages and flow charts etc... I have an advantage. I know more, I've seen more, I had much more exposure to a more complex array of information and it shows. The fact is the HR douche that interviews you won't know the difference between BF State and MIT but once you're on the job the education will pay off.
This is why I use CASH. you want to fight the man? use cash. The man wants you to use credit cards to pay for everything from gas to gum. That way when the man gets sick your shit he can just turn off your number and you cease to be. You can't buy anything, you can't travel, you can't own anything, you're screwed and all he had to do to win the fight was turn off your number. I'd rather get mugged for a couple hundred bucks by some thug then have the man steal all my money by turning off my number.
Electrical Engineer is always good. Quantitative analysis is good too. I had a buddy that worked for Ping golf clubs and did pretty well analyzing numbers for them. But a job you'll enjoy really is much better than the one that pays the most. In my experience If I hate a job I can stay with it for about two years. Not really worth it.
this is not entirely accurate. Most XP users do not "ACTIVELY log on to the access point". Most XP users don't know anything about what goes on behind the scenes when they connect to hot spot, the computer just tells them they are connected.
Hey I got news for you. Buy a house in the state of California, and you get finger printed. Get a job with the Military, Financial institution, Law enforcement, you get finger printed. Get a payday loan, get finger printed. so what...
I built a land line phone based trigger for project in college. Are they going to block all phones from being used? how about garage door openers, car door openers, lasers etc..
Hell I'm not even that smart and I can think of 1/2 a dozen ways to get around that. Why don't they just put his ass in a bullet proof golf cart? It was good enough for the pope.

I saw a similar video years ago done as a magic trick. You simply record something like a screen saver or an animation then you memorize the sequence of movement and pretend like you're doing it with your fingers. Watch the video and you can see that this is not one long demo but several short ones spliced together. Each one is short enough for someone to memorize and practice. Very clever, but not science.
The argument that biblical laws are outdated or are ethicaly archaic is silly. Biblical laws aside from respect the sabath and have no other gods before me are just good manners and are basically the same in all religions and politics. dont kill, dont steal, dont think of ways to steal, respect your elders, dont cheat on your spouse, dont lie under oath or give other false testimony. Pretty basic and if everyone respected them, a good way to maintain social order.
The part of the computer that 'smells' the worst is the part you can replace. The case dosn't smell like anything it's the mother board that gives off the most odor and mostly when its hot. If you don't want the stink buy an old well used MOBO the funk should be gone from it. Also you could keep the case open and have lots of air moving around to keep it cooler and not the the funk build up so much. I know what your talking about I just bought a new mobo and P.U.
This info is from an IBM Magnetic Storage Engineer. The reason is that the IDE market is a retail home market and very competitive. He said "If an IDE manufacturer can save 5 cents on a component he'll buy the cheaper one". The time from R and D to store shelf is less than a year. For SCSI drives on the other hand are primarily for servers and they have expensive components and are tested for a long time before they reach the market. The time from R and D to store shelf is about three years for SCSI. what was the bigest drive you could buy three years ago (ide)? Thats right about the same size as the biggest SCSI drive today. So... what does this mean? IDE drives suck, they are cheap they are the zip lock bag of the storage industry. If you are going to grandmas with your data thats ok but if its going to the moon... buy tupperware, (SCSI).

You're going to be so busy scamming squirrel that you're not going to care about internet. Take advantage of the time away, disconnect man, simplify.

I think all gas stations should have a dick sucking robot. I can pump my own gas.

There are actually several routers that support dial up. Infact the router dials up for you and will keep the connection alive.
