    I second the "we don't need any more noise added". I guess if they have to pipe it into the internal stereo speakers, at least they aren't bothering everyone else. This is from someone who used to have a pickup with a 454 and headers and it would set off car alarms just driving by even before the exhaust pipes fell off. After the pipes fell off, it sounded just like a dragster at full throttle.

    I've had google fiber for about a year now, and I must say that I have never had to contact customer service. The service they've provided me has been incredibly reliable.

    I use a wired mouse all the time and also hate mice that have resistance or pull. You just have to make sure the cable is supported (so gravity isn't pulling on the mouse) and that there is enough slack and the mouse is just as free as wireless.

    I would have thought the same thing about Google fiber, but that seems to be working out fairly well.

    Don't feel too bad about wanting to look at attractive females. Ladies are the same way. I know too many girls that are in love with the guys in Korean dramas and such.

    Some of those construction zones are there for months on end and with no workers for days at a time. I know I don't always have the patience to deal with ridiculous impositions, but at least with self-driving cars on the horizon, it won't matter for long.

    iphones seem to get plenty dim. I also second the thought that most people turn up the brightness. My friends, and their kids, have learned to max out the brightness every time they touch my phone.

    If everyone is known to have a gun, then if you want to successfully commit crime, you have to fire (and hit) first. Have fun with your gun when whoever is attacking you has already shot and killed you.

    Not only that, but we have the right to mount cameras on said drones and see everything that goes on in peoples' apartments because it's their fault for leaving the blinds open. In fact, I need to sell an integrated camera drone / hot-chick database solution, or maybe just stream the feeds from my own army of privacy invading drones.

    Though having 3cm thick a-pillars does seem to avoid the blind spot problem, I don't think those pillars could support the car's static weight, let alone the weight + momentum of the car or cars from a bad collision or roll-over.

    If the police just followed procedure and got a warrant for the camera, this would have not been a problem. Requiring the police to have oversight and get the approval of a judge for is a good thing.

    The police must have had a reason to put a camera on the pole. Their mistake was in not bothering to get a warrant to do so (or they tried and failed to get a warrant).
