The thing that this seems to be missing is being able to work out what someone will do based upon the actions of others. For example, usually people entering a public toilet will be going to use aforementioned toilet. Even if the person being monitored had never used one before, the system should be able to decide that going into a public toilet logically means the person is going to use the toilet.

On the other hand, it could *also* recognise that people arriving at Kings Cross in a group carrying rucksacks and then splitting up in order to travel on the tube has been done before and resulted in a major incident (Doesn't matter what the precise details of the event were, it's all part of a pattern). From here the system could flag the whole thing for attention.

Obviously the logic required for this is yet to come, but eventually 'breaking from the norm' in order to confuse the system won't do anything because it will have been trained on thousands of others who 'broke from the norm'.

Depends on the person witnessing the rape. I have very, very well defined views on rape and should I witness it then may the God of your choice have mercy on the offender.

On the other hand, there are those who will go "Not my problem" and walk on.

I say violence is alright up to the point where it is no longer needed, ie use all the violence you want to make sure the person committing the crime (in this case, for example, rape) is no longer a threat to you, the victim or anybody else and *then* try using some of the more pacifist means. If that means hitting them with a length of 2x4 then so be it.

Once they're down (as in unconscious or unable to move) if you keep hitting them, you've gone too far. But again, if they're down and getting back up there's no advantage in being a gentleman - give them a solid whack to make it clear they should stay down.

Seriously though, whilst I'm all in favour of nuclear it lacks a lot of public support.

A better idea would be to plant rooftop gardens, and hang cylindrical turbines off the sides of buildings. Cities act like big wind tunnels between tall buildings, cylindrical turbines could be used to turn this air into power for the building whilst the garden on the top helps buffer some of the pollution and generally make a nicer place.

Alternatively, make the centre of large cities pedestrian only.
