"However, anyone who buys an X-Box is supporting a company that wants to harm their rights, so it's a non-issue for me either way. Make your bed, lie in it."
Oh, and I suppose that doesn't go for PS2, Gamecube, PSP, and eventually PS3 games either, right? No it's Microsoft, not anyone else... and it's those filthy xbox owners that are idiots for supporting such DRM, not the other consol-making companies as well...
So I think I've figured it out. I can get Funny(5) or Interesting(5) so long as I either
a) mention, in some subtle or not subtle way, Linux
b) bash Apple
c) alk about open source
d) bring up Duke Nukem Forever in some clever way
And imagine if I combine them!!
...but apparently will not support correct grammar

This is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. I hate dilbert, and I hate you.
Man... where did that agression come from? I gotta go eat some chips or something and chill out...
You're not getting it.
You use it every day and buy new things for it. And let me ask you. Do you know how to turn it on? How to skip songs? How to rewind? How to eject the disc? If so, then you've just met his point. If you use a computer all the time, and buy things for it, you should know how to turn it on, how to launch software, how to CUT AND PASTE for god's sake.
If you don't use one, and don't know, then it's the same thing as me not knowing how to fly a plane... I never have, never will, and dont have an interest in it. But I know how to drive my car... and I don't sit there in front of it wondering how to turn it on or open the door.
$39.99 for 256Kbs...? Satelitte Internet is $59.95 and its (I believe) a hell of a lot faster than 256Kbs. Why wouldn't they just use satelitte instead of a whole new infustructure, etc...?
Not for nothing, but you are contradicting yourself.
"Simple filters should be as easy as a XML transform."
You said: The only advantage of XML is that it makes it easier to read the data -- but the tricky part is interpreting it, and XML does nothing to help there.
Umm... yeah... if MS stores Word data using XML... and AbiWord knows the way XML is used to store the data, then it IS as simple as an XML transform.
And not for nothing, but an XSLT pretty much IS an interpretation of XML... the code written in an XSLT is written to take in XML and apply a transformation to it based on how the source XML is organized.
It's the whole point to an XML Transformation.
It's like saying making orange juice is not as simple as squeezing an orange, because you have to squeeze an orange to do it.
Novices don't fix the wear and tear. They pay people to do it, buy new computers, or simply deal with - and complain about - the fact that their computer is slow, spy/adware ridden, and broken.
When will companies realize that the whole cell phone convergence thing isn't all that its craqcked out to be. Every attempting at converging a cell phone with another device has been embarrassing. Even camera phones. Face it - the cameras suck and the're next to no use for having a $hitty camera in your phone. Get a digital camera. They're probably smaller and much better.
And I dont WANT my phone to be an MP3 player. I want my phone to be a phone.
Arrgh!
There's so many articles constantly appearing about how this will kill the ipod, this will be better than the ipod, this will put the ipod out of business...
so many people targeting the little white bundle of joy, and so many people falling way, way, short.
Kind of sad.
Oh, yea - and first.
With no exaggeration of any kind, I have no idea what you just said.
i have a watch.
i've had diarrhea that made for better news than this.

So does using (sic) and bashing a too misspelling make you feel all good and high and mighty, and too cool for the room? Man, I look up to you.
People still make comics?
