but here in America, yes, that makes you abnormal.
Really, what about if you live in New York? Or do you not consider that a normal part of the US? Surely there are other cities that it is just easier to not have a car. I know it is that way in most European cities.
Yes, you are correct. But Japanese is very hard. And when, on top of that, you have to do a full-time job, you just don't have the time or the energy to devote yourself without sacrificing most of your time. And if you aren't planning on staying there forever, you have even less of a reason. Not all people enjoy studying languages.
Sweden was the one that actually surrendered without even putting up a fight. They were completely gutless.
There is nothing wrong with surrendering when you are hopelessly outnumbered (or picked a wrong strategy, as in the Frenchies case - Maginot Line), or not going to a fight for stupid reasons that you can't win(iraq).
Some people have smarter family/friends than others. This seems to be quite clear in this thread.
Some people remember what to do when they are trying to do something, other like some of my friends, write down every single step they do, and if one thing goes wrong they are at a loss.
Yeah. I have NEVER EVER EVER had to go into the CLI either, except for those times that I have had to.
As you say, ipconfig is a good one. There used to be only dos tools for telnet, ftp, and ssh. There is also running.reg to add stuff to the registry. chkdsk for a quick disk check. Then there is the net commands, Net Start w3svc to start the webserver. iisreset to reset the webserver. And a lot more.
He is not comparing them, he is pointing out how silly the statement that he is responding to actually is. He is saying that just because you do one good thing, does not forgive all the crap you have done in the past.
How fucking out of touch do you have to be with the english language/logic to jump to such a stupid conclusion.
Why is it that I know a merger between Yahoo and Microsoft won't be successful, but Steve Ballmer doesn't?
And what multi-million dollar business do you run? Personally you sound like someone who has absolutely no business experience at all.
So why Steve Ballmer know a merger would not be successful? For the obvious reasons...people don't know thing like this, they can make educated guesses, (or uneducated stupid statements like you have done), but knowing the future is hard. And I am going to make a bold statement here, that people in Microsoft have actually looked at this acquisition, and see a lot of value in it. They have actually looked at ways they can make/save money if they had Yahoo. They probably spend months on this.
I have a mate that does that, but enjoys EVERY single movie he sees...everything. I can't believe it somehow. Maybe he just likes getting out of the house.
But then, I would probably be happier if I had his disease. Sort of explains why he goes out with a fat chick as well.
Critics are a bunch of different people. There seems to be this disease where people can't differentiate between a group of people with different opinions and a single person. Find a critic that you agree with, and read their reviews. Critics don't replace you having to do some work.
Or do what I do, read the review, find out why they hated the movie and see if you would agree with them. Or don't go see the movie straight away. I find rottentomatoes a good guide.
But even then, there are still bad movies every now and again that I enjoy. I know they are bad movies, but I have a low level sense of humour.
To be fair, if you want to download it a season at the time, you have to wait until the season has been broadcast on tv. And even then, you still have to wait a year until the next season is available.
Of course, the best way to solve this is to just wait until the shows run has ended, and get the whole lot at once. Of course, by then, a better use of your time would be just about anything else.
Yes quite true, or even several mistakes. In fact, I see incompetent people walking around all the time, making mistakes all over the place, and not a word of being fired.
Well if I find out there is something I don't know, like a Linux repository, I don't run around blaming everyone else for not informing me better. I go out and try to find out about it myself.
Wrong or not, look at their leaders compared to ours. We get George Bush with our brilliant system, they haven't had a war with another country for years. Sure they have that whole tibet thing, but is that any different to Iraq? Afghanistan? They just don't lie about why they are in tibet, unlike the west, who don't have a problem with lying.
However, computers are very useful tools in *any* lifestyle and they help save a lot of time and resources.
Not for me. In fact, I haven't used a computer in years, and I am a lot more happy for it!

Well I hope I won't be doing that, since that is what I do all day now.
And that for £500 (or $900). Seems very expensive to me. I guess if price is no object.
Why does that no count as a virtual world? Ticks all the boxes as far as I am concerned.

Fucking moron.

Cool, where can I see that movie.

The funny thing is that although Apple is a hardware company, and Microsoft is a software company, Apple produces better software that Microsoft.
You can still get the Mac or DVD out without breaking the seal. Just cut open the box, or breakapart the dvd. I wonder if this holds up in court?
So, how many seconds does it take?
Price and Security. A ROM image cannot be changed. And it is a lot cheaper.
My Dark Side Brother played with Xandros until he broke it, and then installed XP.
And you still call him brother? You are very forgiving.

Good idea. How was the time travel from 2001? Any side effects? Maybe you could also explain what you mean by the word digital?
Ha, just kidding, your great, really!
