Right, but what if you could duplicate that Hyundai for free? That's what Windows admins are doing in the enterprise. They invest the time to customize their operating system images and then ghost it across all the computers. Now if we take the analogy furthur and say that the customization severely restricts the driver from doing other important things, then I can agree with you (USB drives are still useful in the enterprise. Grrr IT!).
I've never had a exercise/training routine before. Do you have any recommendations/websites that would help me design an exercise/weight training routine for a relative beginner? Wikipedia isn't that much help and there are so many sites out there are littered with nurtient supplements and such things that I don't know what to trust.
I'm in the middle of making the switch to Opera and I use alt-d. The reason I do so is because alt-d is easily reachable and has consistant behaviour between Firefox and IE. F8 doesn't behave consistently across browsers and ctrl-l (my former muscle memory) pops up an annoying dialog in IE. Plus I swtiched to Dvorak, so my L is where the qwerty P is.
Plus this is Google we're talking about. I'm pretty sure one of the first things the program manager did was plot all of the commuters' address and ask some Googler to run a heuristic TSP algorithm to get a 99% optimal path. From what I've read one of the first things new Googlers do is come up with some fun map-reduce algorithm and run it though any number of their massive clusters. At least, that's what I'd try if they hired me.
Same here. Actually, this story is my first experience with the whole slashdot firehose thing. I downvoted a bunch of stories with worse titles than this story last night, but it seems this title won out.
I'm thinking that the firehose adds an interesting dynamic to Slashdot. We now have two speeds, slow and crazy fast (when you set the firehose threshold really low the junk just spews in).

I'm trying out a new system now. After 23:00, my router blocks slashdot. Interestingly, the router rule is called goToSleep. It seems to be working okay for me so far.:)
For those of us no lucky enough to watch television from the United States, they conveniently posted the episodes here as well!
The fun thing about the NBC site is that they show you the commercial before informing you that the video is not available in your region. Hey, waitaminute.. This is slashdot. Anyone know of a way to confuse the geolocation mechanism they're using? My obvious guess would be some sort of proxy..

Bonus tip for FF -> Oprea switchers. Change Oprea's tab behaviour in the address bar to be closer to Firefox/IE.

So in order to avoid copywrite infringment, you have to commit fraud to obtain these shows?

And gods bless you all for sticking around.
It's way funner to say it that way. Just like funner is more amusing to say than more fun is.
So it doesn't run Linux?

It was UNIX all along! You maniacs! You blew it up! Damn you! Damn you all to hell!
It's called vitamin D and it comes in pill format these days. Obviously not hardcore enough.
The impression I got was those sales are a small minority of the human community. Or more importantly/specifically the consumer community.

I assume while you do this, [organisation using quantum crypto] will have shot you.
I expect your average non-developer really doesn't care about the difference.
Do try.
