Yup. I was a member over a year ago when they had the unlimited subscription. They recently upgraded their rips from 128 to 192VBR.
I logged in with my account info, which still worked and looked at my account. They had records of EVERYTHING i DLed before which was about 8 gigs worth. Since being a member lets you download everything you've downloaded before for free, i rejoined and got all 8 gigs at 192VBR.
not really... Unless they also had your screenname written on it under the title AOL SCREENNAME.
I have one of these things for work...theres no way someone would know where to login and what id to use just by picking this off the street.
I programmed in leJOS for a real time systems class. It was pretty phatty. Worked well.
Had the Legobots navigating mazes, not falling off tables, moving colored balls into goals, playing laser tag with other bots. Fun times, fun times.
There's already cheaper higher quality music out there.....at emusic.com.
Its 192kpbs VBR there and average at about.23 cents a song ( it's a subscription plan).
IMO the selection there is better than you will find
at any of the competitors.
AllAdvantage did pay out... i got my max of 25 bucks a month for the time that I did that.
And though i haven't seen it personally, my friend's sister did the free ipod thing and actually got one, so they are sending at least a few out.
I work as tech support for some homebrewed software suites. More often , when another company calls for support on the product, im talking to their support staff. More often now, their support is outsourced. Since we only work 7am-7pm , with these clients we have to hop on the phone at 7am to talk to them at 8pm India time. This doesn't leave the biggest window of time to solve problems, on top of the language barrier.
I've been on conference calls with a few of their support people, and one of them was almost the designated translator, with the others English so garbled and fast no one in the States could understand.
Anyway, I can perfectly understand how outsourcing support can be frustrating for the caller, especially when its burning a hole in your wallet.
I've been using the same skin on Winamp 2.8 for years(plug for 'Silence' skin).
Maybe that's because its part of my disk image I always wind up going back to.....
Yea that is possible, but what are the chances of someone going to the trouble to post early recording session material of an unknown band in the first place( unless the material happens to be uncommonly good, which might boost interest in the band before they get released)
Well, if you happened to have a good number of people DLing your music, and happen to like it, there's a good chance you won't be playing to 5 people anymore and have more people to buy your merch at the shows.
Slighty offtopic since this experience was with CC, not BB......but I bought a 50 in TV from CC last year. I specifically was told by someone over the phone before i went to the store and during the actual sale that a coupon I had in hand for 10% off a TV as well as their current 300$ giftcard sale would apply to my purchase.
Of course afterwards when i try to get a rebate form printed out later(didnt get one during initial purchase) they say the giftcard doesn't apply since i had the coupon.
I emailed their support a few times, talked to the sales manager, and got my gift card handed to me directly( instead of having to wait 8 weeks like a normal rebate). Worked out well for me.
I also bought the Extended Plan which will last for 4 years. Since its a projection LCD it uses a bulb, which will most likely die within 4 years. Though I didn't read the 'small print' in my warranty I was told specifically it covers the bulb. Right there the cost of the ext. warranty is covered. On top of that there are a few dead pixels on my screen. It isnt noticeable at all at normal viewing distance, but with a hassle im sure i can get a new model down the road.
If you want inexpensive downloads, you need to look elsewhere. IMO.99 is still about what you pay for a
CD media anyway, without the media.
Places like http://www.emusic.com/, with a set price a month for 'unlimited' downloads are where its at.
Im still kicking it old school with a grey 32 meg drive on my keychain

LCD screens can't shatter?

That would suck for the people with Tuberculosis...
someone's a little touchy feely
Why watch a spinny 'e' when you can have a cute lil fox?

Who needs pr0n when you have 2 gf's =]
Just do what i do. One email address for pr0n. One for serious stuff. One for each girlfriend. Then another one for some more pr0n.
Actually its 37.99 at Outpost.com =]

I don't think anyone caught on to the joke quite yet
Just use the argument for mp3's. When Sun goes on its 'tour', 'arenas' will sellout to see 'live' code
I wonder if these admins need to join DARE. DDOS Abuse Resistance Education
