Adding a bittorrent client to Firefox would increase Firefox load up bloat. For every extra feature there is a resource tradeoff. Some people cant connect to torrents due to proxy or firewalls. But regardless using standard built in http or ftp transfer is the most logical choice albiet not the most exciting nor bandwidth friendly.
Maybe someone will "fork" a firefox version with a bittorrent client.
Everyone has their opinions... People who enjoy religious movies can have their movies (ex Passion of the Christ) and those who do not can have theirs. You can't just have your movies to enjoy and not allow others to do the same, within reason (ex not child porn)

"This is not a primer, tutorial, or concept-bound book. It is meant to provide practical guidance and solutions to the most common Web design issues dealt with by Web designers.
Each topic is richly expressed with clear and straightforward text, illustrations, screenshots, and sidebars on a variety of related matters. There are sidebars throughout titled "FAQs" and "Geekspeak," explaining concepts or terminology for the less-knowledgeable reader."
