    Well, they have...sort of... but in the cases of Horse & RollerMouse it just seems -1 Redundant to me. I feel fine with my 2-Button+1-wheel-button Microsoft WorkOfTheDevi--I mean Intellimouse so I'm not changing too soon. Besides, I get confused if I use a snazzy tool at home and plain vanilla mice/keyboards everywhere else.

You know, like Vega Strike or something. <offtopic>I wouldn't put "warning: pdf" though--at least for those who have broadband and version 7. I have it on now and I was able to get to that page without waiting for no stinkin' badges. I mean, plugins. They know how important that is--just look at the first list item. (Version 6 users know what to do.)</offtopic>

    I have no knowledge of German networks (or railroads for that matter) but it'll definitely either involve a fare hike, a first class section, a separate charge, or *shudders* a tax increase. TFA doesn't elaborate what exactly to me, but something will give IMO, for access that fast (32MBit/s? I wouldn't mind that).

    Most interesting: "In order to lead the data from and to the driving course to, the British set on a Wimax net along the distance, which is to transfer up to 32 MBit/s" If that means download rates will be up to that much, I wouldn't mind something that fast on my DSL (mine barely reaches 3MBit/s). Especially in the middle of a railroad (unless that 32 MBit/s is shared by every commuter on the train).

    FWIW, here's the original I believe, for those that understand such a language.

    Yeah, it does scare me. Very few, if any, actual FFs (by "actual" I mean ones developed with Sakaguchi-san at teh helm) that I know of are coming, and now they want to bilk our money by charging us for the game and the online service. *sigh* I dunno about you guys, but that they are so concerned with financ^H^H^H^H^H^Hgrowth shall be the death knell for them IMO. I hope so; I can't see FF in their hands sans its creator, and I don't care much for their other games. Maybe if they make Rad Racer an MOG* or something I'd probably be excited for them anymore. I think.

    *multiplayer online game, not that other...whatever-the-hell that is.

    Seriously, though, I love the idea; I have a deep hatred for "single-use" non-rechargeable batteries. I just wonder if the iPod explodes if it's mastu^H^H^H^H^Hcharged too much with this.

    Maybe they are going public, but very cautiously. I think the "basic HTML" setting will get them there much faster because they can worry about the bugs in the standard version later. I dunno about the movies, I think it's been around for a bit; I do like the "plot detail" searches, especially one for this often-used film gimmick. ("I look like the CRYPTKEEPER!!1! ")

    Exactly. So many people I know have lost their...faith in teh Kazaa. I doubt, though, that BitTorrent will get much help either from SuprNova's eXeem and the **AAs also threatening legal action left and right to both Kazaa and BT users and trackers. I think I'll just stay on the "safe" side and listen to ic-musicmedia's tracks (not that I can vouch completely for their legality or coolness, but I love it).

    Nice idea, you really should tell them to do that. I love teh Maps, they're like a free Streets & Trips. Or a less cluttered Expedia map page. Or a slicker Mapquest. But those're just MHOs.

    BTW thanks for reminding me that I can actually bookmark these sorts of pages. *replaces weather.com 'mark with Google weather search since Google's loads far faster*

    it's because they are becoming a bit more vector-like (the SSE sets et al.?) and they are working on those front-side buses and L1/L2/etc. caches to get the instructions in and out of the procs quicker...but I'm no expert on los procesadores.

    I'd rather not, though frankly I haven't seen more than two of those in XP, and some random 0xC0000005 errors. If they're smart (notice I said If) they'd base it on XP or something more tightly secured. (I expect the "more tightly secured? Like Linux?" posts to come quickly.)
