Well, they have...sort of... but in the cases of Horse & RollerMouse it just seems -1 Redundant to me. I feel fine with my 2-Button+1-wheel-button Microsoft WorkOfTheDevi--I mean Intellimouse so I'm not changing too soon. Besides, I get confused if I use a snazzy tool at home and plain vanilla mice/keyboards everywhere else.
God owns that patent. You have seen Lindsay or [insert woman's name here] have you? (Unless you are one, in which case you should get some of God's patent tab. God bless 'em.)
...that it uses Elliptic Curve Menezes-Qu-Vanstone for the encryption. I can't even say that five times fast without encrypting it, so it's got to be good.

I wouldn't be shocked if *shudders* Mark Burnett makes a sci-fi reality show. Aside from Mad Mad House that specific *ahem*reality has largely been untouched.
WiMAX has a theoretical bandwidth (warning: pdf, see pg 5) of about 4.5Mbps per 3.5Mhz channel (outdoors, range 15km)
Thanks a million. I'm hoping it's suburban outdoor so I can download important stuff faster there. You know, like Vega Strike or something. <offtopic>I wouldn't put "warning: pdf" though--at least for those who have broadband and version 7. I have it on now and I was able to get to that page without waiting for no stinkin' badges. I mean, plugins. They know how important that is--just look at the first list item. (Version 6 users know what to do.)</offtopic>
I guess it'll be HotSpotSpotting, or something like that. (Some people make a hobby of trainspotting, so the analogy works out to me.) Or Wi-jacking. I dunno.
I have no knowledge of German networks (or railroads for that matter) but it'll definitely either involve a fare hike, a first class section, a separate charge, or *shudders* a tax increase. TFA doesn't elaborate what exactly to me, but something will give IMO, for access that fast (32MBit/s? I wouldn't mind that).
Most interesting: "In order to lead the data from and to the driving course to, the British set on a Wimax net along the distance, which is to transfer up to 32 MBit/s" If that means download rates will be up to that much, I wouldn't mind something that fast on my DSL (mine barely reaches 3MBit/s). Especially in the middle of a railroad (unless that 32 MBit/s is shared by every commuter on the train).
FWIW, here's the original I believe, for those that understand such a language.
Yeah, it does scare me. Very few, if any, actual FFs (by "actual" I mean ones developed with Sakaguchi-san at teh helm) that I know of are coming, and now they want to bilk our money by charging us for the game and the online service. *sigh* I dunno about you guys, but that they are so concerned with financ^H^H^H^H^H^Hgrowth shall be the death knell for them IMO. I hope so; I can't see FF in their hands sans its creator, and I don't care much for their other games. Maybe if they make Rad Racer an MOG* or something I'd probably be excited for them anymore. I think.
*multiplayer online game, not that other...whatever-the-hell that is.
Well if you give youself said shuffle you may indeed get something else straight.
Seriously, though, I love the idea; I have a deep hatred for "single-use" non-rechargeable batteries. I just wonder if the iPod explodes if it's mastu^H^H^H^H^Hcharged too much with this.
Maybe they are going public, but very cautiously. I think the "basic HTML" setting will get them there much faster because they can worry about the bugs in the standard version later. I dunno about the movies, I think it's been around for a bit; I do like the "plot detail" searches, especially one for this often-used film gimmick. ("I look like the CRYPTKEEPER!!1!")
Exactly. So many people I know have lost their...faith in teh Kazaa. I doubt, though, that BitTorrent will get much help either from SuprNova's eXeem and the **AAs also threatening legal action left and right to both Kazaa and BT users and trackers. I think I'll just stay on the "safe" side and listen to ic-musicmedia's tracks (not that I can vouch completely for their legality or coolness, but I love it).
Nice idea, you really should tell them to do that. I love teh Maps, they're like a free Streets & Trips. Or a less cluttered Expedia map page. Or a slicker Mapquest. But those're just MHOs.
BTW thanks for reminding me that I can actually bookmark these sorts of pages. *replaces weather.com 'mark with Google weather search since Google's loads far faster*
it's because they are becoming a bit more vector-like (the SSE sets et al.?) and they are working on those front-side buses and L1/L2/etc. caches to get the instructions in and out of the procs quicker...but I'm no expert on los procesadores.
I'd rather not, though frankly I haven't seen more than two of those in XP, and some random 0xC0000005 errors. If they're smart (notice I said If) they'd base it on XP or something more tightly secured. (I expect the "more tightly secured? Like Linux?" posts to come quickly.)

As a Math Professor once said to me and the class about some techniques, "Only the names are changed to confuse the impressionable."
In this case, of course, I am quite impressionable with all these elliptical curves, foreign names...sounds more like porn to me.

A/S/L?!? (Well I can assume the S part...) I'd insert something relaxing into that--ah, let me stop before someone slaps me...

Maybe he refused to make friends with the penguin and the nautilus in the party.

This could explain some of it. They have to get the ideas from someone. Or at least extrapolate from their knowledge. They're not gods...right?

No, Yahoo can handle the traffic; they're the site using a massively redun--oh wait...
I wouldn't mind that, as long as they have a cache of good weather during storms. Or at least alert GMail users.
I noticed it just yesterday. I wonder if anyone uses it on Lynx/Links, and how well it works on those? (Not that I use those often...)
