IE has standards-compliance issues, sure, but IE6 already seems pretty easy to work with to me, so I pray^H^H^H^Hthink it'll be even easier in IE numero siete. Not that I write many pages to test said compliance.
...but that's where nature comes in. If people choose odd or alternate lifestyles, and they're not the best for the environment, then either the rest of the species shuns their offspring, or the ambient conditions kill them. That's why "Jerry Springer" lifestyles are not very common in real life. It's like peer-to-peer filesharing: the best files live on, while others are not downloaded by peers and/or deleted by the owner, accidentally (disasters) or on purpose (murders) over time.
but hardly OOo, and definitely not with the "buggy" WiMP claim. Mine pops up reminders to respect copyrights, but I doubt that's a bug. Though I must agree VLC trumps it in functionality and source open-ness.

That's one place to insert a "rock-solid reliability" joke in. I would have also poked (pun unintended) fun at NASA's inaccuracy with Mars missions if their last two didn't do so well; those must have some really hard, long-lasting software.

If they could show nothing but TV commercials and keep an audience that way, they would. But they can't - people get bored - so they put dollops of infantile fantasy, emotional pornography, and corporate disinformation masquerading as news to simply keep your attention between the commercials.
Exactly. Why can't people see that big companies like NBC--and even smaller ones like UPN--do this for what big companies do best: making money? Ad revenue is one of the few ways the networks keep themselves alive, besides any infusions from parent companies and TV-themed stores; that is why the spots are on in the first place.
In this case it's...
Air television network
Market it to others as way to get their point and product across (for a fee) (Note: 1 and 2 are interchangeable)
Sell ad space to those interested
Profit!(tm)
...and thus that second-last step is known to all.
I remember when the Super Nintendo, Genesis and Pentium were next-generation--not to mention the AMD K6-2 ("with 3DNow! technology!"). The first game I ever played was that Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt dual pak. I miss teh old days...
...might be used to run the PS3 (assuming this is true). Outside of a weighty OS (assuming you use Windows, Mac or a Linux GUI with that nVidia) they should do better.
What's with this whole RFID craze everywhere, even as Slashdot has posted four stories this week about their insecurity and "hack-ability" if you will? It sounds like Pokemon and Microsoft are working together to make the world an insecur^WRFID-connected planet.
I do like the fit-in-your-hand capability of both the '83 and the projector, though. If they could do 1920x1080 (and at least 60Hz progressive--my Dell e770s can do so without blowing up) I'd be really happy.

I guess they had to *ahem*face the music soon, though.

All my MIT bitches, uhh...

Maybe -$50. If that's not enough you can ask for the same as a tax deduction.

Wow, a new sex position...the Bomb Squat, perhaps? "Yeah, sweetie, examine my belongings, oh yeah..."
(Of course the suitcase-server could serve up the necessary *ahem*aphrodisiacs...)
You mean etching the fingerprints on those poor (but yummy) souls? My WTF-0-meter explodes at the very thought...

I wouldn't say that in front of our not-so-new wind-making overlords. I, for one, welcome them.

Besides, 256 GFlops in single-prec. can't be too bad either...can it?
You mean the orcs-in-britain-trolls-in-slashdot dept.?
That's just sick (I think). Even cooler for Mac users who'll like the "dual threaded" PowerPC core of it, no? Can't wait for that PS3...
Or pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis?
Gotta open up those possibilities.

Gotta hack 'em all, it seems.
Is that dotslashted? Anyhow, thanks a lot.
My TI-83 is only 96x64, you insensitive clod!
