To me, time spent in ANY terminal, no matter how bad, is better than sitting on a plane for one second more than I have to. At least in a shitty terminal, I can move my limbs. First class, coach class, I don't care. I'm always the last to board
As somebody who lives in a college town, I would guess that the number is closer to 75%-85% of kids are seriously addicted. It's like Invasion of the Body Snatchers, with all of these kids walking around staring at their devices constantly. Heck, kids even walk less (and ride bikes almost never), because, I assume, they can spend more time on their gadgets sitting on buses than they can walking or biking..
I hope you're getting some professional help. It sounds like you've got some sort of anti-social disorder. Most people wouldn't consider not having to interact with a cashier as a positive.
- people who pee on the floor
- people who open packages and use the product right there in the store
- kids grabbing things off the shelves
There are about a bajillion things that could happen in a store that none of this silliness has accounted for. We are decades away from having employee-less retail stores. This is just a dumb PR stunt to keep the dumb Amazon customers drooling.
What they did was a PSA. It was a good thing. Governments should provide citizens with information that helps prevent them from getting ripped off. If the US were run by sane people, we'd do the same right now.
Any large organization falls apart if professionalism isn't maintained to some degree (see current White House). Groups of people don't work together well with lots of emotional outbursts from its members. This is pretty consistent across most cultures. If somebody can't keep their shit together at work, then they gotta go. It's as simple as that.
What I don't understand, is why they only make consumer-level stuff. They don't make anything, hardware or software-wise for businesses. It's a shame that small and medium sized business users really only have one choice for a coherent software ecosystem. Microsoft works, and is affordable, but it would be nice if Apple gave them some kind of competition in this arena.
If you're using a Google or an Apple product, you are already giving away all of your data anyway. Gmail users give it away to save $2/month on real email. Apple users give it away for shiny shiny marketing. Facebook users give it away for god knows what. 99.99% of all people, at least in the US, have already voluntarily given one of these three big companies all of their information, anyway. It's all over. People are too fucking stupid and/or lazy.
Hahahahahahahahaha... You have to associate a Google account with it, which is much, much worse than a credit card. I use a Windows Phone because I don't have to associate any kind of account with it to use it.
...are a major feature. So is the ability to find your phone.
If you need something to help you find your phone, you have done something terribly wrong with your life. You should try to think about what that is, and change it, immediately.
You have no idea what you're talking about. Live Tiles let you get info from an app (mail, phone, schedule, weather, etc) without opening it. It's pretty slick on a phone.
So they're discontinuing a minor feature on old versions of Windows Phone. Why would that mean that "the end of Windows Phone" is coming? They're still actively supporting Windows Phone 10.
"failed"? You sound like the Shithole in Chief. Calling a popular comedian with a their own HBO show as a "failure" really just tells me that you, in fact, are an actual failure, just like the Orange Asshole.
Is there anybody with an IQ above room temperature still working in the US executive branch?

...or a Russian troll. Which are you?
I've spent the past few decades in retail. People are gross and will do unimaginable things.

Best of luck. I hope you get some help.

People are simply too stupid. The human species developed technology without wisdom, and killed itself. It's all over.
This CEO sees Uber as bankrupt in 5-10 years.

Our company has decided not to advertise on Facebook any more. It's not an organization that we want to give money to.

I've noticed that. Super weird. They must be getting paid by Google or Apple to do that.

I'm not understanding how this works better than a $0.50 mirror.

That's funny. I associate Microsoft with making professional software. I associate Google with making data sucking scamware.
