  1. I think you're right. Whole Foods' customers don't care about price. But Amazon is going to do what they do best: figure out how to sell things at a loss.

    Amazon just by not being the same old way of doing business, will probably change all grocery stores for the better.

    What makes you say that? You DO realize that Amazon's business model is selling all of your personal data to the highest bidder, right? How would that improve a grocery shopping experience?

    I like how Nullsoft gave away the full version of Winamp for free just before AOL shut them down. Version 5.6.6.3516 (aka: version 5.666) is one of the best versions ever, and I still use it every day.

    Chargers are being installed in new public and private parking decks and lots in many places, now. I assume cities will replace parking meters with chargers, too. The infrastructure is already there. It's just a matter of installing some outlets.

    The Internet is just as free and open as ever. What Google decides to put in their store or not has nothing to do with the Internet. The Internet is at risk of not being free and open from the same right wing nutjobs who vote for people who are actively trying to make the Internet only for the rich (via breaking net neutrality).

    ..I've been using it for my entire life.
    1. Go into store.
    2. Hand cash to employee of store.
    3. Receive merchandise.

    I like my method of "instant pickup" better for a bunch of reasons:
    1. Doesn't require giving 2% of my purchase to Visa/Mastercard
    2. Doesn't require giving all of my personal information, including my web browsing history, my social media accounts, my Google accounts, and the history of where I physically go, to Amazon.
    3. Some of my money stays in my local community.
    4. I don't need a fucking app or a fucking phone to buy a fucking snack.

    But hey, what do I know?
