  1. Lawsuit on Google? on Microsoft Sues Google For Hiring MS Exec · · Score: 5, Interesting

Shouldn't it be the employee that gets the lawsuit? They were the ones who broke the contract? Not Google? I mean, yes, I read the article, but wouldn't it make more sense to just sue the person, not try and make up random claims?

Sure, they want to attack Google in all ways they can, but seriously... this just seems stupid.

You're right. At the same time, though, neither is Linux. I wouldn't trust any curernt operating system in my brain, and you shouldn't either. Linux is far from perfect. Neither is Windows.

If we were to get computer-implants, they would be specifically designed for the brain, and they would be running with redundant fail-safe EVERYTHING. We shouldn't trust software that we know has a possibility (as small as that may be) of crashing.

Or the EU can sit down and stop bitching. This entire "XP N" idea was just plain stupid. It doesn't make any sense, and it shouldn't be there. So what if Microsoft bundles Windows Media Player? I use Winamp, so do a whole load of non-tech friends I have. I actually don't know anyone who uses Windows Media Player in every day life. But hell, the other day, I launched a .wma file I downloaded, and it opened in Windows Media Player. I was glad that it did, too. Why wouldn't I want that? Your analogy is also seriously flawed since ice cream is PAID. It has a worth. Therefore not offering ice cream would give them higher profit margins. De-bundling FREE SOFTWARE like WMP, IE, MSN, etc. SHOULDN'T cut down from the cost, because there's no cost in creating it.
