Humans still don't have a brain, who would give this to their child?
Each time, whatever someone said to Barbie would be recorded and transmitted via Wi-Fi to the computer servers of ToyTalk. Speech-recognition software would then convert the audio signal into a text file, which would be analyzed. The correct response would be chosen from thousands of lines scripted by ToyTalk and Mattel writers and pushed to Hello Barbie for playback
your childâ(TM)s voice sample and the start of a new "user profile" for a corporation.
Muslims are currently negotiating for sharia law in Irving TX (Google it) this kid didn't do anything interesting that much was obvious from the start. The school officials are required to report strange items like his "clock"
But the sheer backlash and media sensation indicates this was planned, I wouldn't be a bit surprised at the "outrage industry" if the 2 were connected.
"This super-sizing of data center campuses allows cloud platforms (and the data center providers that serve them) to rapidly add server capacity and electric power."
It's also all your eggs in one basket too, don't they watch Mr Robot?
Instead of buggering Amazon lets take a look at the mentality of the average "consumer" and how well they have been groomed over the years by marketing teams.
The other disturbing things about Amazon. How when my dad buys something shipping is wayyyyyyyy overpriced but go to my account (one where I have cancelled orders because of overpriced shipping) and it's less than half the cost *same town*, or their bait and switch, or their sending an item entirely different from what was pictured. Yeah I know there are resellers, but Amazon fronts them so they get the blame too.

Did you read the article you posted?
"Moujahed Bakhach, described as one of the tribunal judges, said generally that state and federal laws would always take precedent."

"The app can be used to move contacts, messages, photos and more to a new iPhone or iPad,"
Probably uploads it to the "cloud" too.
And more likely to get cataracts later in life.
So not one teacher/official at the school could see there was no explosive?
It's a bug, not yet another NSA/GCHQ backdoor that offers Apple "deniability" of their collusion with intelligence agencies.

We are infants screaming in a forest of wolves.
That's the truth of the Fermi paradox, the only surviving intelligence is one that's extremely quiet.

What about the female employees?
I figured a site like that would be a sausage fest, women don't seem to have as much trouble getting laid as most men do.
Isn't TOR a little slow and lacking bandwidth to make a good hacking front?
What's the motivation for replacing humans in various jobs with a robot?
Why are we doing this? The outcome is going to be terrible, so again.
What's the motivation?

That's the real story.
