    ? Bordering on criminal? The president, at his WHIM, can fire every single fucking lawyer he wants under the control of the executive branch, as long as it doesn't violate their job contracts(which is doesn't as otherwise the complants would note so). The only reason this is a big deal is because the nutjobs are running the asylum.

    Bingo, legislating stupidity is like fucking dogs for safe sex. It completely avoids the real issue. You want to cut down on this shit, all the legislature needs to do is vastly increase the complexity and difficulty of getting a license. This will cut down on the number of morons allowed on the road and will perforce increase reliance on public transportation.

    ? And here you make 2 incorrect assumptions. #1, all gun nuts are by nature conservative. #2, All conservatives want free speech eroded(Tipper Gore anyone?). Both are so far wrong I'd be laughing if your view weren't as fucking repeated by the majority of the left and the anti-gun fascists(Not the same group) that it's worse than a broken record. There is not ONE scientifically reliable and valid study showing that gun control laws do anything to reduce violent crime.

    Or maybe it's because a certain level of competence is demanded of Diebold by the other customers, which, given it's the US government and not military or NSA, does not demand the same level of competence. Instead as long as it remotely works, the government doesn't give a shit.

    Of course, Switzerland, which has more guns per capita than the US, has one of the lowest rates in the EU. Israel also has an extremely low rate barring SB deaths. Morover, the one town in america that adopted the guns in every home approach has lower crime rate than switzeland. The US has 3 times the non-gun murder rate of Britain. Guns are irrelevant, culture and the conditioning of children in responsibility for oneself is the only thing relevant.
