I'm a collector, I get my fix by playing with my Amiga 2000HD that's sitting next to me, or by getting out the Amiga 500, IBM PCjr, Compaq Portable I, or Commodore 128 that's sitting in my closet.
Azureus is an ok client right up until you see that it take an atrocious amount of system resources, even before it actually downloads something. It's very bloated. uTorrent or ANY other client NOT programmed in Java is much easier on the system. I personally prefer uTorrent over any other client for Windows. The exe is a whole 170k, has all the features of Azureus plus some, and takes very little system resources to run.
The continent containing Canada and USA is called North America. So yes, Victoria is in fact a North American city, even though it lies in Canada, the country.
I built an HTPC not too long ago. The case fans are a little loud, but honestly, I can't hear them over the TV or movie. I don't even think about them. Sure, when it's completely silent in the room, you can hear it. For me though, that doesn't matter.
I'm actually suprised I didn't see a silent power supply (Thermaltake W0029) in there. It would stick out the back a little, but it would probably fit in there. As for CPU fans, the Zalman CNPS7000B-Cu I have is VERY quiet, and with out the case fans, I can't hear it.
You should check out dictionary.com then.
perishable Audio pronunciation of "perishable" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (pr-sh-bl)
adj.
Subject to decay, spoilage, or destruction.
n.
Something, especially foodstuff, subject to decay or spoilage. Often used in the plural.
So, that would mean frozen/cold stuff.
The military (especially Air Force) have a very backwards network management.
Because it is open source, they think that automatically equals insecure.
The Air Force have horrible, horrible network administrators (I speak from experience). The fact that such sites as Apache are blocked really doesn't surprise me. Ignorance is bliss right?
Your logic is flawed.
So, if I was still in high school, but I made a Duke Nukem 3d map of my school, the school should be concerned?
Well guess what, I in fact made a Duke Nukem 3d map of a layout similar to my school, you know why? Because the building layout made a good map. So not only, under your logic, would I get in trouble, probably get suspended or expelled, I would be labeled as a depressed potential murderer and have a police record.
I like that. Even though I had 0 intention of actually acting it out, my life would be ruined, because of your logic. Not only am I not depressive, I have 0 intention on ever murdering anyone, or have I ever. Please, think before typing.
The best thing you can do is NOT install Yahoo, AIM, ICQ, or MSN. All four of those programs are spyware ridden bloatware.
The best thing to do it install a third party messenger. I myself perfer GAIM http://gaim.sourceforge.net/ and there is also Trillian.
Save your Windows box the trouble, and install 3rd party. You don't get the fancy backgrounds, webcams, buzzes, or whatever crap, but you do get a basic texting program, that does what it is supposed to, be a text messaging program. GAIM is lightweight, and very simple to use. It can connect to all 4 protocols listed above plus some.
If businesses would quit giving us reasons to hate them, it wouldn't matter what day it was. Microsoft is getting away with breaking the law, and people should know about it, even if it was Saturday or Sunday.
It doesn't even have to be a shirt. I used to work at Home Depot. We had to wear an orange smock, but any color collar shirt.
After I had quit, I came in to get a few things one day, and I was wearing an orange shirt. I must of gotten stopped at least a dozen times by customers wanting help. Of course, I helped them out a little bit, not wanting to go back to my Home Depot days.
In the off-peak time, when it is recharging the batteries, does the cost of recharging the batteries make up for the off-grid use during peak time? If the system takes 2 hours of off-peak time to charge the batteries, wouldn't it cost the same as 2 peak hours, or would the cost difference between peak and off-peak still help?
Because that isn't the problem. Windows is plain out ignoring the hosts file on some domains, even if it's read only. It would be the same thing as the Linux version of Firefox ignoring/etc/hosts too, regardless of permissions.
Finally, you know how long I've always wanted a wireless house? I mean, now I can have my padded walls without those pesky wall sockets getting in the way.
As much as I wish, I don't get anywhere near that (less). Sure, it's not a lot, but I do live comfortably in an apartment, I have a nice car, and I always have a good supply of food. I wish I could get paid that much, I would still probably be living in a simple apartment. Anyway, $50,000 is a LOT to some people, not everyone gets what they should earn (and I'm tryin to get a better job, but living in West Michigan, its not that easy).
As a small time hardware reviewer, I take pride in my grammar and spelling skills, the review was very painful to read, until I noticed his first language probably isn't English, so give him a little slack, but he should really get a fluent English editor.
Actually, at least in America, this could be a bad thing. There is a lot of experience you gain and a lot of things you learn about friendships, daily life, and relationships that is only obtainable by going through what everyone else goes through.
Not that I don't think that it is awesome that he is a prodigy as such, but will he not be lacking a lot of "street smarts?"
FYI: 1. Shoutcast hosting is done on a PC. You can do this through ANY router that exists today by opening a port.
2. P2P is the same way. Forward some ports. I have been doing both for years.
3. VOIP capable routers have also been out for a while, and they are still much cheaper.
On a personal note, I really don't see how people are having all these problems with Linksys. Never in my 2 years of using Linksys have I had a problem. None of my customers have ever had problems with Linksys either.
I don't remember, but did the radiation from the disaster effect the plants at all? If so, does this mean that the future plants will be back to normal?

How does buttload measure up to shit-ton?
I also would like a piece of that pie. Oh, and with some whipped cream. Thanks.
I would rather them concentrate on fixing the memory leaks then who they should trust.
I'm sorry, rjshields, but astronomers renamed Uranus in 2620 to end that stupid joke once and for all.

Yes, you are missing 4th grade Geography.

This is so backwards. I don't really understand the thought process.
Suing Napster, YouTube, insert widly popular item here is like suing the car after it gets you in a car accident.

Quit posting your irrelevant crap that nobody wants to read. I wish I had mod points to mod you down into oblivion.
I hope that is just a phase. I'm sorry. I apologize for that horrible joke.
