If my robot could go out and fetch bears, I certainly wouldn't want it to bring them to me. Hey, that brings up an idea for me, a robot that goes out and hunts.
I liked when I leveled my hydrolisk to 40 fast and evolved into a Lurker. I just walked into one of the pkenabled towns and no one had a siege tank yet, they were all marines, scv or firebats. I just burrowed in and scored tons of kills while people screamed "Griefer. Lurker, don't go in there, I told you not to. Why you going back again."
I think next time I'll play a dark templar and merge with someone else's dark templar at 40. Sure one guy controls the movement and the other the mind control, but its fun to mind control an scv and have him harvest minerals for me so we can ebay them. I think by the month's end I'll have an army of chinese SCV mining minerals for me and then I can totally sell Battlecruisers on ebay.
I was skeptic robots would ever be able to finish in my old slashdot posts. Apparently they got the sensors right in the 2nd year and five competitors finished. I shoulda stuck around with Red Team year2, but I lost my key to the building and they wouldn't issue me another one.
I heard somewhere that Lucas doesn't like directing actors because the actors may not act in the way he wants them to, and he prefers CG because the actors do exactly what you want them to do.

Then they can make episodes for the next 1000 years. I'll find a way to travel back in time to the year 2000, and get cryogenically frozen for 1000 years. When I wake up, I can watch 1000 years of Futurama episodes for a full year. That'd be the best year of my life.
Say you have a 12 player Warcraft game going. Add a 13th that streams to 11 observers and another observer node indefinately. You could have a game as ping intensive as Street Fighter 2 and have infinate observers.
No Castlevania, No Contra, No Metroid, No Mega man? Kungfu was ok, like it was the final scene of Game of Death the movie, but there are better games even for its era.
I programmed since I was 6. I'm 29 now with a Scientific Computing degree from CMU. I predicted ebay, instant messaging, personal sites, and MMORPGS as being big in 1994. Can't find a job though. Talent and market forsight just isn't enough to snag a job these days.
Picking games to compete in must be a difficult task. It seems like most run of the mill multiplayer games have a singular strategy that makes all other strategies worthless. If a multiplayer comes out with strategy, will it be a recurring event through the future... Or is the whole scheme to cycle new games so fast that no one realizes that there is only one optimal strategy in each game?
1) Parabolic satellite dish with foil or mirrors on it to focus heat.
2) A teakettle.
3) Semi clean but bacteria infested water going into teakettle
4)When teakettle hits a boil, it initiates a 5 minute timer
5)When 5 minute timer goes off, it drops the water into the drinking water resevoir, then takes in some semi clean water in.
I want prices for entry, games to be played, and an entry form. Its so funny, I was one of the best in Warcraft3, but the last competition filled up before I can join in. Not exactly fair at all. If they wanted real talent to do these games, they'd open up unlimited join slots.
I'd mod you down because I don't like your viewpoints. Its a joke, but it happens all the time on certain issues on Slashdot.
Its time to "buy out" your buisness

Tron 1: People go into the game.
Tron 2: The game invades reality.
Will they figure out how cool a tank crushing a bunch of cars as it warps in is? Probably not.
1) Video on demand coming from internet
2) Next generation forums that will filter trolls away and make interesting speakers rise to the top.
That's exactly the case, and they'll have some sort of timer that you can only watch it for 24 hours then you have to pay again.
Prepaid legal does IDentity Theft, it just costs money.

So many people paid money expecting a Word for Windows upgrade and were met with a smart assed paper clip.

I beat Zelda 1 without using the sword until the Gannon Level. I prefer 2d Zelda to 3d Zelda
AlJazerra is nothing but pro violent Muslim TV. You don't blow it up, you make an Anti-violent Muslim TV station.
I just found it amusing that I go to check Slashdot and there is a story about online gambling.
