Where do I look to start coding half life 2 mods?
I want to write vehicle/MMOG/Fortress code. So you can adventure, and build up a clan and fortress where you can build vehicles.
Heck I'd just like to join some half life 2 modders in their project, I've been working with video games for 10 years but always bite off more than I can chew(or I get bored)
Eventually all our media with be categorized by user for download, and you can see/hear/learn things that interest you.
Its a global library and it will happen.
So it says a single robot has enough influence to drive a colony into light protection.
I wonder what a handful of these guys could do to a single roach. Maybe have all 6 robo roaches walk out in the clear light and see if the other roach follows. I'm sure you could think of more diabolic schemes.

Basically you get a 3d imagination space in the computer, and a camera system that can assimilate objects from reality into imagination space.
Then suddenly, you go can go all Zork in describing items. I don't see it happenining for at least 15 years though. Computer vision recognition is really in its infancy.

WOW seems like a bunch of pointless go out and kill some monsters, or talk to a few NPCS. I really found nothing exciting when I played it.
I wish some game company would employ me. Been sending out resumes for 16 years and I got a plane trip to E3 for 919 once. Problem is I talked about how great MMORPGS will be, and 1/2 their employees split to form Verant... So I didn't get the job.
MMORPGs are just at the start. I'm waiting for an action MMORPG like Planetside
You put RFID in licence plates and give it a good range, Police could automatically find stolen cars, ones who's registration is up, even potentially who's driving without insurance.

My only challenge was XDs'Grr and hes in Korea gaming it up. I'd have records like 72-0. Koreans all play the same because netcafes are social. Other countries don't have the communication, but there are lies that stand in front of truth and good communication isn't always healthy to an optimal strategy. People that could think for themself could build good strats.
Sorry, its funny, because it was my only gaming system for a while, but times have changed, I can't see how it still commands a dollar value above 10$. Maybe its becoming a collectors item?

Simply have an array of solar panels/Windmills to use for home electricity.
Not only is it used in for your house's power, but you could drive your car up into the car charger. People know how to use cellphone chargers now, so its no problem.
I was just looking around the net for the best Solar Powered Water Purifier. This electricity solar/wind power stuff is the future. It also helps 3rd world countries develop who can't afford the fuel or clean water.
Anyone know the best way to purify water using the sun?

We need a camera that digitizes real life into an online 3d map.
With GPS on a cellphone with a mapping program like mapsonus, and a bus schedule, you could find where you want to go fast. Or how about a cellphone with a cab pager button.
I like finding resturants within a certain radius, like some devices do gas stations. Eventually events could be plotted on the devices too, so you could attend or not. Lots of stuff can be done, but only a little is done here and there.
