  4. Wii TV on Wii Puts Japanese Television Under Pressure · · Score: 0

There should be a "Wii TV" Channel on the Wii that is like an alarm clock that tells you that there's your favourite show on TV.

  5. Nano-Transactions on Have Spammers Overcome the CAPTCHA? · · Score: 0

If Google or some other internet company came up with a portal system, which charged you $0.0001 rather than entering a captcha, it would cost you nothing until you reached the first cent, and probalby wouldn't take any more till the first $10 but it would cost spammers money to do so, not mentioning having their creditcards blacklisted. The only problem I can think of is stolen card numbers, so people would have to register their details so noone else can use it.

  8. Dual Boot on Microsoft Pleads With Consumers to Adopt Vista Now · · Score: 0

That's why somebody invented dual booting, all Vista capable machines should come with a dual boot with Linux for the backwards compatibility with peripherals.

It'll be a win-win situation whereby people will either drop their legacy applications/peripherals to use Vista or (cope with/get used to/learn to love) Linux and not need windows so much.

Dual booting on all OEMs by default FTW!!

Giving children the basic understanding of the fact that computers and not just about Windows or GetAMac, and that they have a choice.

It's like religious education where everyone is given basic knowledge of other religions and are left to make their own choice.
So the computing in school is similar to being stuck in a catholic school and being taught that there is one god (i mean 3 in 1) and other religions are all fanatics (hackers and pirates in terms of software).

And for bundled apps, they could have 30 day trials of actual commercial linux apps like cedega, and other game demos.
