All that is asuming that life can only exist as carbon based organism, maybe on such a hot planet that life can only live as a silicon form other type of living structure.
Just because every living creature on earth is carbon based, you shouldn't come to the conclusion that every living being in the universe is.

Maybe a postage limit could apply, so you would have to open the trade screen to give above say 10 gold.
Usually if your friend joins, you would meet up anyway so it wouldnt be much of a be deal.
If i was quiting the game there would be no way i would give all my gold to anyone below level 30. Theres too much risk of them not liking the game and quiting and them not passing it on.
They should also monitor any unusual gold transfers thru the postal system in which players have never met.
For example I could send gold to another Guild member, an IRL friend (which i might have to prove i am), or someone ive been in a dungeon with. or any alt character. Those would be ok, but any "random" movements should be questioned.
Or what about havin a virtual customs office when those kind of transactions occur, and have the customs office in level 50+ zones. Obviously if you are receiving over 50 gold you should have the appropriate level to use that much gold anyway.
If they want some kind of advertising payoff they could make "advert" themes for Gnome/kde/Emerald, and if they still want the junkware. They could run it on Wine, or even modify the source code for apps to generate some kind of ad revenue.
One of the major gripes would be antivirus vendors who prebundle their software, as they wouldn't have a use to be on Linux. As the clueless windows use will just pay up for a yearly subscription when he comes across the first virus intercepted by the virus scanner.
I wonder how hard it would be for Amazon to enter publishing business, they could easily buy out a company such as lulu and brand their own Amazon books.
They are crying because they have to Port crippleware, and have Symbian, Palm, Windows Mobile and now iPhone developers to remove all the features that could be used to bypass the extortionate user services that they offer.
Where's Simon Templar when we need him?
Was expecting a link to a google hosted webpage, in the hope of seeing a slashdoted google page in vain.
Not to mention being transformed into a rasberry jam by the improbability-drive!
Wouldn't an OS that phones home back to a server in the USA be illegal anyway?

It's pretty much a lame article without 480, 720, 1080, and a real life image for comparison purposes.

Wait about 10 years and see how different the IQs of china and the USA match up.

That chimp is clearly disabled for a human, he cannot speak and sit up straight.
I was thinking they should make a portable xbox and call it an Xbox 270 (as in 270 days = 9 months = baby)
As soon as this is finally accepted im buying the domain MM.XXX with the hope of cashing in, in 2030.
It's in two days, remember.
Think of what could happen if that kind of technology is use to make a weapon!

For throughput I wonder it that kind of speed could rival the traditional copper busses on motherboards.
And don't forget that if you have a server environment, you don't need any GUI in place.
Maybe just SSH access.
