I really do hope Take Two can find a case here, I know I've been angered more than once by his rediculous opinions, and it would be nice to finally shut him up.
They should just pull a Viacom though, and ask for $1,000,000,000 in compensation.
While the console market has a modchip for the Wii already, and the 360 has been modded long ago [I have no idea about PS3] it is a bit more difficult to pirate games. While it would be nice if we could just make everyone be honest and but what they play there are a few problems with that. One being that the majority of released games are fun for about 5 minutes. Congradulations you wasted fifty bucks. The games that aren't pirated? Online games, if you require authentication then there is a reason to purchase the game. While this massively excludes a large variety of games, if every game picks up an online feature, then maybe that would help the industry? I realize this is a bit of a hard to swallow request for something like a platformer, but could it work?
Shouldn't they just have delayed the PS3 launch till October, when the selling point of the game was released? Microsoft released the 360 before many headline games so that they would have the console marketshare. Would have been nice to have a reason to buy the PS3 when it came out, not a year later.
"The company is concerned that this relatively small and marginally profitable unit is hurting the company's overall image"
Another great company down the tubes, what's next Enron is fudging the books? You critics are killing us all!
If you're going to critisize a mispelling do it on a site that gives a damn. This is a technology news site. I don't care if I spell incorrectly so long as it's obvious what I'm trying to say.
I'm deffinitely excited about Worms. I really feel that downloadable content as such is a great service to the gamer, as well as being what I would deem a great cash cow for the company. I'm a fan of games, not graphics, I'd much prefer geometry wars at a cheap price over some 3d HD version for 50.
If your teacher doesn't recognize it, you wont be able to use it on a test. Also I'm in my third year of college, and my calculator hasn't even made a good paper weight. Depends on what type of school you want to go to, but if it's for engineering, invest in a pad of paper and a pencil.:\
Just wait until they discover they can control their Roomba with a Wiimote. Goodbye suicide bombings, hello Roomba bombings! Down with Nintendo, down with iRobot!
I wondered when someone was finally going to try to blame Google for blowing buildings up. With GPS as accurate as it is, and satallite imagery easily accessable, I don't think Google is what we need to deal with. We need to deal with the guys with the bombs.
Any game that requires me to gain mental power by stealing sweat from a monster, isn't quiet up my ally. And I don't intend to invest in this sweat anytime soon either. But kudos to those who have made money off of the people that are hooked on this "game."
My most recent flight was shortly after 9/11 happened. UI was flying Savannah, to Atlanta. Then Atlanta to Newport News. Before getting on the plane in Savannah, I was randomly selected. Before getting on the plane in Atlanta I was randomly selected. Before getting out of the Newport News I was stopped and searched. The worst was I was flying standbye with dress shoes that were too small and no shoe horn, so each time I had to take my shoes off it took another 10 minutes to get my shoes back off. Needless to say, I was pretty pissed off, and now avoid flying if at all possible.
Now they just have to figure out how the demo disk becomes playable, use it as a boot disk, and poof, free games for everyone.:) I might be buying a 360 sooner than I thought...

Now I can safely surf my porn!

"(The article dismisses Linux desktops in the enterprise in a single bullet item.)" And how is this still considered a noteworthy article?

I think the real culprit in this article is the anonymous person who managed to sneak this blatent anti-microsoft garbage onto slashdot.
The game was designed for little girls. If you feel ostrisized because you're a grown man playing a little girls game. Then there are two cases here:
1.) You should feel ostrisized anyways
2.) The game turned out a hell of a lot better than they thought it would.

I'm just going to start calling Sony Mario, because they just got 1-uped!
If he made a robot designed to do his job, they'd be buying his idea.

Someone has an opinion they're scared to let out hah.
I believe the difference lies in suicide bombings, and killing anyone and everyone indescriminately.

Why is a phone worth more attension than all of the cool things say nasa is doing?
Why is a mediocre phone getting 10 /.'s a day?
Is nintendo the winner for the Wiimote, or is Sony the winner for the mini-wiimote?
Take into account that the Wii has more than one game and you have a rather easy choice.
Great way of making a awesome game even better, move it from playstation to xbox :)
