I thought all three of the Halo books were well done (considering the source), though I'd agree that Fall of Reach was the best. It set the game up rather nicely. The second book, based on the actual gameplay, was probably the weakest (but still good) because it was forced to follow the already-scripted game.
hmmm... now I have the urge to go read Reach again.
But you're also forgetting about the other horrible Lucas invention of the prequels, midichlorians. "Midichlorians are what gives a Jedi his power" or whatever, but basically they're part of the body. Grievous was never force-sensitive in the first place, just an excellent warrior, so putting his brain in a jar didn't really take much away from him. Since Vader had a huge midichlorian count to begin with, lopping off a few appendages probably took him down a notch or two on the force-strength. I imagine he'd want to keep what he had left.
Also, the Empire hates non-humans. There's another reason for him to keep the humanoid form.
silly typo...
I've never had the least bit of inclination to... beat the shit out of some guy with a bamboo stick.
I have, but it usually has far more to do with my lousy commute than it does with any tabletop gaming:)

Did you really just tell somebody to trash their nerd membership, and then reference "Bobba Fett"? Ahhh...delicious humor.
I'll agree though, Fett's Vette is a great song. Far more entertaining if you can find the video made using Galaxies where they dance to it (even though it looks more like Jango).
They might if it kills Leonardo DiCaprio...
Specifically, nobody wanted it in their backyard.
If I could reach you, I would hurt you... now I can't get that damn 'song' out of my head...

Not only that, but the current MechWarrior books have much more to do with the MechWarrior: Dark Age table game than they do with the video games...
Always in motion is the future...
In all fairness, they do tell you to put your head between your legs... why not someone else's?

I hear they take care of that in the next one...

But apparently China has taken a more constructive view: China will grow larger!!
