That's why the military, hospitals, and anyone else who depends on 100% accuracy in the programs they use don't buy the $50 software aimed at consumers.
Actually, I have my Wii hooked up to my widescreen monitor via composite (roommate's VGA box), and the Wii's built-in widescreen feature works fine for me.
but the story is about to... drop off for a while. After you get past the next three dungeons, it'll pick up again, so don't get too concerned. Also, the items in the later dungeons seem a bit uninspired. At least they're different. Oh, and get used to every boss dying after only three hits. Twilight Princess could really use an optional, more difficult setting, but that seems to be a pattern in all video games, not just the Zelda series.
All in all, it is a very good game for all of the reasons you listed, and then some. I just don't think it's better than Ocarina of Time or Oracle of Ages/Seasons.
Firefox 2 for me as well with Adblock + Filterset.G, but with no modified HOSTS file. It fits your description precisely. I'll try it in Internet Explorer 7.
Well, IE7 looks the same, but with Google's text ads. Same deal with Opera 9.02. I guess the guy who was bitching needs to run Spybot or try a non-ancient browser.
If I wanted to read a book to get the story, I'd read a book! Video games that have intricate stories (especially RPGs) should not need to be augmented with a book just to understand the storyline.
I could, however, see supplementary books with the Halo series. Not everyone cares about the story, it is kind of a mindless FPS.
Not to mention the fact that, without a PlayStaion 1 or 2, everyone would be confused at the name.
"PlayStation 3? Xbox 360? Winamp 5? Why does everyone skip version numbers?"
That's the name of the Futuristic Sex Robotz' album.

I went to my guidance counseler the other day and a noticed a secretary entering data in a DOS application on a Windows XP computer with the Olive Luna theme. Talk about ugly UIs!
M$ Excel's interface is enough to make someone convert to OpenOffice. And for such a complicated interface, one would expect a lot of complex features. One would be mistaken.
I guess the best bet would be to make OpenOffice Math actually perform equations, rather than just format them. Then it could be integrated into OpenOffice Calc.
I know it's a little off topic, but as a little side note about calculus programs, I copied the Derive program files folder onto my USB thumb drive at school, so now I have a PortableDerive. Unfortunately, I need to install two fonts for it to not look like shit...
I like the GameCube too, but maybe the fact that GameCubes aren't as popular would explain the lack of a shortage. But the conspiracy theorists make a good point. Microsoft clearly wants to rule the world by not selling merchandise. It's so brilliant, I wish that I had thought of it first.
I agree; although I still have my Hotmail account on/., I have received no spam in my Gmail account. Hotmail is like a spam magnet, I suggest using Yahoo! or Netscape mail instead of Hotmail. Also, Gmail invites are difficult to give away... but if you need any check out my sig.
You make an excellent point. Perhaps it was more of the innovation that impressed us years ago. Today's video games, while constantly (arguably) increasing in quality, are not very different. Maybe it was because video games were uncharted territory that we liked them so much back in the "Good Old Days".
I suppose the way to revolutionize gaming would be to make games more innovative (like the Nintendo DS, the Sony EyeToy, or DDR). If only the companies tried more stupid stuff, then they might hit something worthwhile.
I don't think that the graphics are as important as the gameplay. That's why we download emulators! Why else would perfectly intelligent computer geeks knowingly navigate spyware-ridden web sites searching for games? They must be good games.
Of course I'm glad that graphics are becoming more realistic, but that's not good for every game. Who really wants to play a game starring an overweight plumber or an actual hedgehog.
Because they [floods and droughts] are among the world's costliest natural disasters and affect a very large number of people each year, it is important to monitor them and perhaps predict their variability.
Maybe we should use less satellites for cell phones and radios and use more for fixing our messed-up environment.
Append ?banner=none to the URL.
I'm on the Cliq (Dext in Europe), and I'm still on 1.5 (along with an estimated 20-25% of Android users).
"portable tetris" I think there's a name for that product already.

Aw, screw the whole thing.

Wow, coming from an Anonymous Coward, that must mean a lot.

He might have meant Ubuntu Breezy Badger (5.10).

Use TrueCrypt hidden volumes, and keep embarrassing, but legal, stuff in the non-hidden part.

I sense a pattern...

It takes a lot of balls to insult someone with a 32% approval rating; even more so to do it anonymously.
Yes, I agree that just repeating what the parent said merits a +3 Funny...
Look before you mod, people.
I, too, don't like it when my computer hides things from me. "Hide inactive icons"? Those are the most deadly icons!
