I don't know if we're using different versions or what, because I have the exact opposite experience with "not crashing" and "fast search". I don't suppose you're using it on a Mac?
Audio watermark. If copies leaked onto the into the internet had a non-audible portion embedded and when iCloud found that watermark while scanning your music it'd be able to tell you had a non-legit copy.
"Getting lucky" usually plays a big part in any success. Whether or not you make the best use of that luck determines whether or not that success turns into a continued success.
Actually if you pay attention to the recent porn crackdowns in China instead of the simply leafing through the keywords being banned you'd know that they're pretty damn serious about the 'preventing the youths' morals from corruption' thing.
Actually, if there were improvements in metallurgy and structural design, it could theoretically lighten the whole assembly. Lighter craft means less fuel required/less power required to carry peopple/smaller engine.
A GPS tells you latitude, longitude, and altitude. If you kept an eye on it to see if the numbers were increasing or decreasing, then yes, it would tell you which way is up. However, it would not sound the klaxons and tell YOUR NOSE IS POINTED STRAIGHT INTO THE OCEAN DUMBASS. There are other indicators in the cockpit that are designed to inform the pilot about that situation.
I think the sticking point here is the word "broken". It can be used in an adjective sense (there is something wrong with it) and an adverb sense (someone broke it). I think the other guy keeps reading it as the latter, aka mechanics were broken.
Some people of certain religions wouldn't take coffee, beer, antibiotics, or aspirin. And it depends on how you define "drug"; you're getting awfully loose there - what about decaffeinated coffee, for example? Tea? Herbal (ex. mint, chamomile) tea? Wasabi has antimicrobial properties; is that a drug? Thyme? Basil? Parsley? If you're going to define "drug" as any edible substance whose main reason for consumption is not caloric intake... well, okay, but that's just silly.

Because Microsoft would probably rather you play games on the 360 instead of the PC? They're probably not losing anymore money on the console at this point, and they're also making money off of agreements and XBLA.

Because media attention has always encouraged corporations to change for the better.
Yes, the platform that at one point (a year ago) let you root your phone by visiting a website is better.

Sorry, but here in the States you are assumed innocent until proven guilty. At least, that's how it's supposed to work.

Option C: Pre-order folks who love multiplayer can get their game on earlier.
Early demo = early multiplayer. Valve effectively did the same for Left 4 Dead, allowing play on one map.
I like to frame the problems Microsoft faces as J Allard vs. Steve Ballmer.

GPS devices aren't accurate enough. We're talking +/- 20-40 feet.

I think that's what the limitations "are", but they'll look the other way if you figure out how to get more fuel into the thing.

That's okay, we didn't need Nevada anyway. Or Utah.

The code isn't kosher; the behavior is. Kosher has come to be an acceptable synonym for "legit", "okay", and "cricket".
Apple gives away iPod Touches for people buying MacBooks before the start of the school year. It's a valid tactic.
