This right here. However it's important to print out and distribute the survival stuff and how to rebuild our technology as the electricity required to access the repository of knowledge and culture is the first thing to go during a disaster.
This is the derangement syndrome AC was talking about though.
It's not any one line in particular, but the combination put together. It's as if an early AI has been put in control of individuals identifying as 'democrat'.
Passable sentences but as a collection entirely devoid of any expression that adds value to the conversation.
Or, perhaps real individuals acting as automatons regurgitating talking points commanded by the talking heads on the neon god during the 11 oClock 'News'.
So much this. Why won't California natives learn it's their bullshit 'there should be a law against that or tax the shit out of it' ideals that bring the high cost of living with them?
Your definition of invasive is not my definition of invasive.
Here's a prime example from my personal experience:
iTunes offered to search my drive for music to catalog in a playlist and I thought 'Kewl', lets do that. What I discovered once it was done is that it found my music, and MOVED it into iTunes, and wouldn't allow me to export it back to the mp3s / oggs I used to have. It DELETED my music, and put it into some iTunes file or location I was unable to identify.
iTunes was promptly deleted, and I restored from a backup.
Assuming I have the ear of a very angry Apple exec:
The market has put it's foot in your ass and will continue to punish you.
Apple products are banned in my household as your software is invasive, hardware grossly over-priced and under-performs and we can fix everything we own.
People don't buy things because they are told they have to unless the Govt made them. They buy things they like. They don't like their Audio jack being taken away, we don't like property we can't fix, and we don't *have* to buy overpriced mediocre performing apple garbage.
Want to sell products, find what the customer wants and fill that need, not by telling them they need to spend 200 times more for reduced utility.
People are Dead because the U.S. Democrats are forcing their agenda. Criminal charges of manslaughter need to be filed against these members of the DNC.
It's known as a general courtesy around the globe that this is how it's done and if you block the left you're a bloody cunt.
City governments may be looking at uneven wear patterns on bearings, rollers or belts that an escalator uses. I am guessing that keeping maintenance cycles down they would be saving money. I think it's in the cities best interest to let the faster people out front instead of forcing 300+ people cross the intersection at the same time.
It's just not possible mathematically speaking. Sure 5G could give you a Gig connection to the tower, but even with a 10 Gigabit Internet connection to the tower you're going to swamp the connection after the first 10 phones. That's not counting the 'phones' that come embedded in some newer cars.
I highly doubt every cell tower has a 10 Gigabit connection to the Internet. At this point all you're doing is wasting power.
The impression I had at the time was that this was Legally enforceable.
Reading comprehension for the win. The key word here is 'impression'.
I was on from the late 80's and there's still some around. I Modded WWIV and did a lot of interesting configuration with Renegade. TW2000 Was my favorite door game of the age. No small wonder I play a lot of Eve Online now.
There used to be a time when anyone logging into a BBS was presented with a notice as required by law that nothing on the system was to be considered private and you were advised not to treat it as such. The impression I had at the time was that this was Legally enforceable. We may be able to apply those older laws to the current iteration of message boards. Should be interesting.
tl;dr; This generation has never had a sufficient level of distrust instilled at an early age.
Working in an open office space is hell on Earth. Add HR walking the halls Tok, Tok, Toking their heels on the polished concrete floors and everyone's fucking dog in the office BARKing for no reason at the most random time completely killing your train of thought, just as you got it into the mode again.
Then here comes HR with stupid drinking games to play a couple hours before everyone is going to be driving home for their weekend.
Sorry, I rant.
Lets fix all this new progressive BS that's been shoved down our throat and do some real science based healing spaces.
It's not racism, it's contrast. Pure and simple. Camera's are at work as Lidar can be jammed.

That's best done when landing.
Silly Thursday didn't exist back then. I think you meant to say 'it Happened on Thor's-Day.'.
Please don't insult good honest educated folk. Homeshcool doesn't have a special ed dept.
I really wish I could mod this up.

*Boom*
Wish I had mod points.
+1 pls.
At what point does projection become defined as a disorder?
AC needs therapy.
I expect reality is they couldn't afford to buy competing products and close them down this time around.
In today's dodgy legal system being honest can be a liability. when dealing with the authorities, do so anonymously.

Astute point.
It did not cause the Tsunami, but hindered the alerts for a people that have grown dependent upon them.
At best it looks like other countries are going to have to develop their own infrastructure. U.S. Cannot be relied upon anymore to do that task.
Then again, that was never our responsibility. We just stood up and Got shit done.
A poor family struggling to make ends meet does not have the option of shopping at Whole Foods
You meant shopping at Whole Paycheck. The prices there are ludicrous.
Mod UP pls!
This shit right here.

They are just pissed because they lost the patent lawsuit to Qualcomm
I wholeheartedly agree.
