Autostereogram art hit pop culture some decades ago, with people having fun trying to spot the hidden image by changing where their eyes converge. I wonder if this form of art will be restricted in France.
I got a CompSci degree at a state school in the 90s and I'm happy with (most of) the lib arts requirements. Psychology and philosophy were especially interesting, and their teachings have been useful to me in work and personal situations helping me understand people's biases and quirks.
I was raised in the US by a Japanese mother who spoke to me in English with a few Japanese words thrown in (usually profanity). Hearing her voice now usually makes me switch to the hybrid language of my upbringing. If I talk to her in my adult manner I get the sense she thinks I'm full of BS.
The MS store should sell a Windows 8 to Windows 7 downgrade service. It'd likely help Best Buy sell more Windows machines that are stagnating on the shelf with Windows 8.
A little bowl of flat beer in the garden works well on the normal variety of snails and slugs. So to handle these monster snails just set up a few troughs of imperial stout.
Interesting, I left a Very Large Company in the late 90's after having set up a few Solaris 2.x machines for our R&D projects. I had a Quake server running on one of them. There was a lot of incentive to keep that server up.
watching the Sharks. At first I thought it was another "we will rock you" chant starting up, but I knew it was something big when the concrete stands began to wobble. I looked up and watched the rafter lights sway for a few seconds while hoping the tremors didn't escalate. No damage or injuries. Regretfully the refs didn't get hurt...those blind jackasses costed the Sharks the game.
