I couldn't agree more, but is it a reporter's job to judge weather or not a company following the governments orders is evil? And in this case is it Google that is being evil, or china itself? Why should google be the one to stick it's neck out.

However, I do agree that google is making the wrong move here, I just like to play the devil's advocate.

  6. What's in a Mac? on MacWorld Keynote Announces x86 iMac & Laptop · · Score: 2, Informative

Apple has sold PCs since back in the days of the Power PCs, and they have always been Macs. There are a couple fundemental differences between what the average geek refers to as a PC, and a Mac. A PC runs windows, and a Mac runs Mac OS. This hasn't changed. A PC can be assembled without the permission of a PC manufacturer, while a Mac is built by Apple, and delived as a whole system. Always. As far as I know, this hasn't changed. A Mac will NEVER be missing drivers for what is inside of it. A PC will almost always be missing drivers for some insignificant piece. These are still Macs.

So, if I don't have any file sharing programs, I run this tool and it breaks my computer, can I sue them?

  13. Re:the exclusion of radio is pretty stupid on The Future of the iPod · · Score: 1

The radio may not be dead, but apple's reputation of quality may go if they implement it. The quality of sound given out by a radio cannot be completely controlled by the hardware. If apple did implement a radio tuner, a good portion of the time people would be getting horible reception, and blame the ipod for that. My guess is apple is not including the radio feature because it is one thing thats quality they cannot control. That, or they just are saving it for a later release to make more money when everybody has to buy a new iPod.
