    I for one refuse to believe that God would give us brains capable of rational, abstract thought, and then plant fake clues to punish those of us who had the gall to use those brains to attempt to understand the world we live in

    A belief that God would punish those who use their intelligence is contradicted by the Bible. Those with brains, talent, looks, creativity, etc. etc. who do not use their gifts are considered sinful.

    What would really be funny is if a fundamentalist who believed such about the fossils being a 'test' also complained about people 'picking and choosing' about which parts of the faith they believed in.

    the charge of conspiracy to murder us nationals was dropped in the plea bargain. lindh pled guilty to serving in the taliban and carrying a firearm and two grenades. part of the agreement states that he and his lawyers cannot mention his interrogation conditions. the situation may be as you say, but i think he was used as an excellent propaganda tool.

    john walker lindh went into afghanistan with the intent of supporting the taliban against the northern alliance. until his capture he was unaware of us involvement. (according to his statements, at least)

    Ah, someone who doesn't have any experience in the market I see. Embedded systems that require motor control and that sort of thing can't be customized by software.

    One thing I have noticed so far is that Expose seems a lot less fluid than in Panther.

    I suppose I should clarify. We had to think uses for our projects that directly involved either the user killing people or preventing other people from killing the user.

    Actually, no, it was the University of Rhode Island. Glad to know we weren't alone though. I always figured that the requirement was due to out close proximity to Raytheon, Electric Boat, the Naval War College, and the Newport Naval Undersea Warfare Center.

    when i was in school, every project final report had to mention possible military applications of the little robots or whatever that we had produced. remote-control car with programmable automatic navigation? reconnaissance, bomb-laying, etc.
