    Wouldn't 4MiB be exactly 32 million bits? Why is this roughly 33.5? Lets go with that: 32,000,000 * 6 = 192,000,000 transistors. That leaves 'roughly' 108,000,000 transistors for L1 cache, code execution, and other minor functionality.

    In the US it depends on the state. Some states are 'at-will' employment where they really don't need a reason to fire you, and so long as you can't prove it was discriminatory then it's okay. Other states have a law against 'unlawful termination', which is probably identical to 'unfair dismissal'.

    I'm a geek and I think case-sensitivity is useless. Do you really have any directories with foo.txt and Foo.txt? It only makes things confusing.

    Computers are evolving faster than any other appliance or house you mentioned and they cannot be compared as such. Maybe when the day comes that a computer doesn't triple it's own clock speed in little over 2 years you can use the "why cant I get 10 years out of this" argument.

    WEP is still alot better than running a completely unsecured wireless network "out-of-the-box". If they took that simple precaution they could probably detur most wardrivers because they'd rather keep looking for an unsecured network than dick around with breaking WEP.

    I migrated from SlimBrowser. Slimbrowser was anything but slim, loaded with Useless features and consumed a whole shitload of resources. Firefox would definatly beat it in a fist-fight. You heard me.

    Small market-share? Talk to them in 3 months - firefox is spreading like wildfire, I installed it, put a link on my site to it. Received like 4 emails saying how great it was. Almost *all* of my friends use it. Pretty soon It will not only phase out IE (not to mention it's default on most out of the box linux distros now.), but It will probably take over the planet. No, seriously, read mozilla.org's mission statement.

    So my proposal? Linux needs brighter colors. That will give it market share, and could eventually lead to Tux being elected President. I think he'd beat bush hands down.

    It's just that for years Mac's have really sucked. Mac OS X is the only *good* Mac OS I've ever seen. Also for years we've been used to a *right mouse button* and it really throws us off not having one :)

    Yea, I've used many M7VIZ boards which are based on the KM400 chipset (AMD chipset supporting up to a 333Mhz front side bus, for those who dont know.) And I've found them to be rock-solid performance and stability.

    I wouldent say the tanks were 100% better. Perhaps the tanks come in kits you have to put together yourself. And you have to use certain tires if you're driving on certain roads. Also you have to be very familiar with how roads and other surfices affect your tank. This would be why most people went with the station wagon. :)
