I went to bookshop in India about a year and a half ago* and they had two shelves devoted to the latest best-sellers. One of them was full of the new Harry Potter book and the other was given over to Mein Kampf. That was pretty fucking weird.
*I was working there. It's not like I'm so rich that I'll travel 4500 miles to buy a book. I'm not even rich enough to go 4 miles at the moment.
Nintendo's Wii games will have online connectivity, with 3rd party sometime next year. Maybe even retroactively through WiiConnect24.

There's so much attention to detail and care put in to that level. It's excellent. The whole game is. Terrible shame about what happened to Troika, really.
I imagine Messenger Plus runs quite well on Vista. Adware probabaly not so much. Yet.
As a side note, Microsoft Antispyware used to flag Messenger Plus because of this sponsor program. Not just the separate sponsor, but the files that were just for Plus. I'm not using either anymore, so I don't know if it still does.
I read in an MSDN blog quite a while ago that a significant proportion of crashes were reported by people who were overclocking so it looks like they can tell that from the information sent in the report.
If it's a memory (or even general hardware) failure then it's going to be different for each person (more or less) and shouldn't skew the results much.
MGS3:Subsistance for the PS2 can use a USB keyboard and the PS3 will have USB ports so it seems likely. The Xbox 360 has USB ports and the Final Fantasy Online beta for it can use a USB keyboard.
If the developer wants to add support for keyboard/mice then they can but it's unlikely they'd bother because the demand for it is low and it would unbalance some multiplayer games (such as FPS and RTS titles).
Independence Day is on the list. That very scene too. But in the film Area 51 had 50 years to reverse engineer the computer systems on the crashed alien ship, so it's not entirely unrealistic. Disclaimer: I've not seen the film in years and my memory of it is a little patchy.
If you own Half-Life 2 then you can download the SDK. It comes with quite a few example maps and also the code for the game logic. There's lots more information at the developer wiki.
2 (ns / foot) = 5.456 * 10e-14 weeks / rod
1 fortnight is 2 weeks so the answer is 2.728 * 10e-13 fortnights per rod or 0.002728 nano-fortnights per rod.
I think, anyway. This is just 5 minutes of Google bashing.
I'm pretty sure they have adverts on the BBC site if you look at it with a non-UK IP address.
Or they might just be planning to.

Kinda.
Last time I took a flight (end of 2005) I noticed that they were showing the opening episodes of Lost on a different route.
If your dog is willing to eat two whole onions then you're probably not feeding it enough.

YES! I thought I was imagining the footsteps.
The Otherworld creeps me right out too.

Provided you've logged in once and set Steam to log you in automatically, you can play single player games (and maybe LAN, I'm not sure) offline.

Yes. There have been Tokamak reactors for over 40 years. It's just that they require more energy to run than they release from nuclear fusion.
O/T, but I really love your website.
Loading up your resume made me think of the Alien films.

There's lots more information at the developer wiki.
You can also get a free version of the modeling/animating software they used, which is called XSI.
