    I love AMD much for the processor (or maybe hate Intel for historical reasons), but unless NV or ATI opens their specification, Intel would beat AMD because of his free graphics drivers.

    You cannot combine i9xx or i8xx chipset with AMD (I suppose), so if you choose free & open graphics drivers, then you use Intel.

    And when the better software gives intel solid performance advantage, the ATI and NV is screwed (and I am not speaking about intel's semiconductor technology advantage). The future will show us.

    I disagree. Government gets nothing positive from most of lawsuits, but problems. (I have seen many lawsuits "Mr. Somebody vs. USA").
    Lawyers get money -- even when they lose the court battle.
    Think about it.

    Yes, I still remember my friends story:

    He and his girlfriend was in USA on holidays and knowing nothing about american laws, he was hugging and kissing his girl in public.
    Than a policeman came and a portion of their talk went like this:

    P: Where are you from? (He asked when he heard their accent)
    F: From Prague.
    P: What?
    F: Prague, Czech republic.
    P: What?
    F: Um.... Its in Europe.
    P: What?

    F: Eh?!?!?!

    So my friend thinked a bit and than said (with gesticulation):

    Superb post, I have absolutely similar experiences.
    Slashdot modders are a bunch idiots in average, if they marked your post Flamebait.

    Set your preferences so that flamebaits have a +3 bonus (I do have it so).
    Setting +3 to offtopic helps too (some modders don't even recognise a logical link to TFA).

    That way, inteligent people, which don't fear to think criticaly, will form a refreshing place of enlightenment inside slashdot discussions.

    To /. modders: Mod me flamebait, you fucker! VB sucks!
