    Oh misinformation how i love you. It is legal to make your OWN guns (not full auto) - but it is illegal to SELL them. You can mill all the gun parts you want to keep for yourself (again, sans the NFA firearms). It becomes illegal when you try to sell it.

    I've heard nothing on their sales so far, which means to me they are terrible. Much like the Surface production being halved.

    I don't criticize MS for trying something different. It is a bold move. But, what they are putting out ISN'T the solution to the problem. They just can't figure out what to do it seems.

    I'd say, it is what they lay-person would figure it as, not a network engineer. My mother would assume if she downloaded a 1024kb picture, it wasn't 1100kb because of some packet methodology, thus cutting down on 76kb of your data you are entitled to.

    Nope, no access to the SDK, besides the lucky few MS chose to grant access to.

    If you want developers to build for it, you have to provide them the tools.

    I think this is why this is a good move for Apple. iOS has become stagnant, terribly. They need a fresh mind to move forward. The core OS is just boring and lack luster. Hopefully this will reinvigorate it.

    Time will tell.

    MS tried for a decade to get people to buy their "Tablets" - and failed.

    What they can't understand, which Apple and Google have, is that tablets are for (interactive) content consumption not content creation. There is a big difference. People don't want to sit and write word documents on these things. Now, you may use your tablet to tweak a word doc, but then, still, it is used to consume data.

    This is true even in enterprise and why tablets are picking up there. Not everyone is creating content. Those on the go are consuming, not creating. If they are creating, it isn't building big powerpoints, it is inputting specific data related to their task.

    Yeah, because the energy used to charge the Tesla vehicles just comes from a magical source. Of course - not a source that pollutes...

    Good way to drive up costs for your competition, but totally ignore the fact Tesla vehicles generate emissions, just at a power plant.
