I do a bit of graphics stuff and i would never put my Photoshop to the side. it is by FAR the best graphics program out there. GIMP is nice for little things at work, but for personal use i would never use it.
but do you think this will make people stop using their damned cell phones? no way, they need to figure out a way to make them less harmful yes, but what incentive will they have to do that if this isn't hard fact.
remember teh craze a few years ago when they thought it gave you cancer? how many scares are we going to have. do people realize how many radio waves go through your body every single day? i am sure sitting infront of a computer monitor each day is a bit worse than me using my cell.
HDTV: High-definition content looks great on an HDTV, but on a regular TV, which is most of what you'll probably watch, it can look worse than an ancient Philco. And that's where the ADS Upconverter seems a logical choice. It claims to convert DVDs and over-the-air TV into video that'll stand up to real HD content. Don't buy it. Marred by a terrible user interface, a remote control seemingly designed by ascetic monks, and output quality that redefines GIGO (Good In, Garbage Out), it's a quick $500 flushed down the drain. For better HDTV choices, including sets with decent built-in upconverters, see our HDTV product guide.
just throw a bunch of components into a box, route the input to the output and sell the "working" box
uh, fees are taxes no matter how you cut it. The "license fee" is a tax, registration "fees" for anything are taxes. they aren't called "taxes" because of the bad connotation that comes along with it.
Without them it is difficult to find that "first job" or great internship. I managed to find mine without assistance from other but I had people helping try to find me one.
you need to make those critical connections in college or atleast your parents need to know people. people who say academics get you everywhere are idiots, it is all who you know and who you know knows.
is seeing how it works and using THAT information to create better malware. all the exploits are there apparently if the tools work, they just need to find out what they are and where they are. google has done the research for them.
bookmarks, if they were searchable i think that would be a big improvement. i collect so many they get hard to manage.
I think a better bookmark managment system needs to be implemented, especially when you move from office to home to mobile. possibly network storage system to publish your bookmarks so your browser can grab them automatically?
is go after the companies that sell their products through spam. outlaw that as an advertising form, fine companies that advertise through them and you have your solution
try drawing with the fat brush
i am running a 3.0+ ghz and 2GB ram dell and the graphics painting sucks
they may want to work on speed a bit if they want to be taken seriously

i say: damn it!
people actually find Windows Media Player a threat?
i would be more concerned about the integration of IE into windows but then again that is just my opinion
you have to die of something...

you have been slashdotted in less than 10000 new seconds!
or will they send their hoard of lawyers after this? who knows what their "license" entails

all ATM's have cameras that constantly record the user using the ATM. what is the difference between the two?
no, they now have the images link back to the server to confirm your email address. it is all worthless.
until they come up with a real solution, we won't have much to fight it.
all they have to do is stop making shitty movies and that would defray a good bit of the cost.
can move out of their parents basement!
but who in their right mind would spend $26K on a virtual world

firefox needs to handle bad pages a bit more gracefully, when i open PDF's up in FF, it locks up almost every time.
also i have seen FF is a memory WHORE, browsing with it open for a few hours leaves you with 100's of MB of memory usage, that is bad
you learn something new every day :o
