  1. antigravity on Space Shuttle To Be Replaced By SpaceX For ISS Resupply · · Score: 1

instead of continuing to build chemical rockets, nasa should research advanced propulsion. The Large Hadron Collider will be the rosetta stone explaining the energy matter interface, allowing creation of psuedo matter, having the mass and "solidness" of matter that can be turned on and off like a switch, which in turn will lead to force fields which in turn will lead to antigravity.

I like this comment from an unrelated slashdot topic http://tech.slashdot.org/comments.pl?sid=533700&cid=23189610 If you work commercially, ask for `what will be most profitable in the long run, while remaining ethical'. If you work free software projects, ask for `what will benefit people the most'. Don't confuse the above questions with `what will satisfy my C(++) hacker ego the most'.

  9. accurate earthquake prediction on Quake-Catcher Aims to be Largest Distributed Seismometer Network · · Score: -1, Troll

accurate quake detection will only be possible after the discovery of gravimetrics. When landmasses approach maximum density due to compression at the fault line, they emit gravitons at an accelerated rate, due to limits imposed by the strong/weak nuclear forces relationship. The graviton detector can pick it up hours or days ahead of the event.
