Unfortunately not it would seem according to this.
As your volume size grows beyond 32TBs, fsck (filesystem check) downtime becomes a huge problem. GlusterFS has no fsck. It heals itself transparently with very little impact on performance.

Quite an interesting documentary series on the benefits and shortcomings of living in slums in Mumbai. He goes and lives in Dharavi for a few weeks and describes his experiences from a micro and macro point of view.
Lots of Mac users are looking for the ultimate codec toolkit. Apple's Quicktime comes with a number but there are more out there and many are really hard to find and/or are Windows-specific. I downloaded and installed Divx and the Divx encoder for some things I do. I use Flip4Mac's WMV codec as well as their professional tools (for things like MXF files). And lots of Mac users have as well to get Quicktime to work with.WMV files as Microsoft stopped supporting us with their.WMV player.
All you need to do is install Flip4Mac and Perian. That should be all you need.
e-tax has been windows only for years. I use a mac and have Virtual PC installed so it works fine.
In fact, I think it's the only thing I use Virtual PC for.
Well it would seem it is the next logical step for this group if they haven't already. Their mission statement of TFA is as follows:
What is handhelds.org?
Our goal is to encourage and facilitate the creation of open source software for use on handheld and wearable computers. We welcome participation and sponsorship by individuals, groups and companies seeking to further this goal. (About handhelds.org)
By wearable computers this would naturally cover a wristwatch with an IC inside it.
Interestingly enough, this happened to me also in my 3yr old powerbook. When I installed Tiger i zeroed the disk before hand and after installation and so forth the hard disk drive would make these crunching and clicking noises. I'd had a few minor problems prior to this and it was zeroing the disk that put it over the edge.
I ended up replacing the hard disk myself (warranty expired long time ago) and I was amazed at how the computer was even still booting off that disk - when I took it out and shook it i could hear parts floating around in there like the disk heads were literally hanging off.
Note that this really doesn't have anything to do with tiger - its a hardware failure (if your problem is the one I was having).
Apple uses a different version numbering system. Just because it is called 10.4 doesn't really mean anything - it could just be as simply called Mac OS X 2005 or v4.0 or Mac OS Tiger for all it matters.
Comparing to Windows Service Packs, there has been two for XP. Apple has released 9 "service packs" for Mac OS X Panther. 10.3.1 10.3.2 10.3.3 10.3.4 10.3.5 10.3.6 10.3.7 10.3.8 and now 10.3.9.
These have added new features, tweaks and improved security also.
I am sick of people whinging about apple charging for "point updates;" it's is an old and worn out argument and it comes down to the simple point of if you don't want it, don't buy it.
Your comment just lost a couple of cool points in my book.
The Age is the second most popular metropolitan newspaper that is distributed in the second largest Australian city: Melbourne, Victoria.
Whilst it is not as popular as the Herald Sun, the leading newspaper in Melbourne, it is regarded as the `more intelligent' paper whilst the Herald Sun is the tabloid equivalent.
It would seem this doesn't account for much, but greater Melbourne has a population of over 4 million and afaik The Age is relatively well known internationally.

Yet all the comments so far are modded as Informative and Interesting.

I'd be much more interested in new discoveries of delivering televised footage of muppet pigs exploring the universe.
And I thought all my Christmases had come at once when i got this poster stuck up on my wall!
You mean I could actually meet him?!
Seriously, what kind of a prize is "HEY YOU CAN SAY HELLO TO ME!"
Speaking of mail..
Mail.app now doesn't support the httpmail plugin.

Just after it was updated.
