More likely is that the device pulling the IP requests the same one it had before reboot/whatever and the ISP's equipment honors this request if the address is still available. This is how my company's DHCP servers operate.
The argument is over the right to marry. Homosexuals do have the same rights as heterosexuals to marry who they want, as long as it is someone of a different gender. Once this is changed, the rights of both will still be the same in that both homosexuals and heterosexuals would be able to marry people of the same gender. While homosexuals want to marry people of the same gender, heterosexuals don't have that right either.
I am not a bigot; in fact, I support gay marriage and all that jazz. I was agreeing with the poster that said, "Legally, there's nothing different from a homosexual individual than a heterosexual." That's the way it should stay, why make rifts by making people legally different? Now, before you jump on me again, let me explain. This has nothing to do with gay marriage. If we made homosexuals and heterosexuals legally different, wouldn't that mean a heterosexual person couldn't marry someone of the same gender? Who decides who is and who is not a homosexual? Sheesh.
As much as people hate to think about it, America does what it does foreign-policy wise to look out for America's interests. No more, no less. It's not our job to look out for the rest of the world, or make it a better place for them. No, it is in our best interests to see democracy and lower tensions in the Middle East because we don't want all that tension spilling over into our country and because we eventually want cheap oil and more trading partners.
We define terrorist as we please. It doesn't matter if we used some of the same tactics before, because then it was on our side. Do you see where I'm going with all of this? The world isn't fair, especially when dealing with other countries. If none of them are looking out for us before them, then why should we give that to them?
Actually, a privatized police force (as an independet company, i.e. one that specializes in policing) would prevent a lot of corruption in the forces today. Most people can see that the private sector does things more efficiently... including fighting crime. If you think not, if you support government-run health care, let's just go take a look at public housing hmm?
Generally speaking, the people that would use Adblock wouldn't click on the ads anyways... so what would be the point. If I want to buy something, I search for it; I rarely use ads to buy things.

In most places, a heterosexual person can't marry a person of the same gender any more than a homosexual one can.
Well the Nazis were socialist. Nationalsozialismus Partei, where they got Nazi from means National Socialism Party.

If a court order can go that far, they could kill a man these days.
Yes, they can and they do, in 38 states.

...and the flamewar begins. ^_^
Well, it depends on its air-speed velocity while carrying a medium-sized coconut.
I can't imagine why this person went into AC mode for that comment. ^_^
