    How many people died from the Japanese nuclear accident? Zero, so far. How many will die? Donno, but probably 0. How many died in America's worst nuclear accident ever (3 mile island)? Zero.

    Now let's see... how many anti-nuclear hippies died from doing too much LSD or ketamine or whatever it is they do? Probably thousands. How many people died in coal mine accidents? Beyond count. How many died building hydroelectric dams, which are very "green"? A lot, 112 for just for one dam (Hoover).

    I know Wikipedia is considered the final word around here, but I suggest reading something a little more in-depth -- a lot more quotes from the horse's mouth:

    NY Times Magazine article -- It's very long but well worth reading. Many insights from one of 20th century's greatest minds.

    I was amazed that NY Times would print something so heretical to the church of Algore, but maybe the Magazine division hasn't been completely taken over by fanatics yet.

    I do agree that fossil fuels will run out and we need to spend the money to wean off it... but it should be something effective - e.g. nuclear - not windfarming or food-burning or unicorn love harvesting or anything else that moves large amounts of money from taxpayers to Al Gore's and GE's pockets while achieving nothing of significance.

    Well whatever Wikileaks is alleging Domscheit-Berg of doing (stealing wikileaks' info, sabotaging their server), it happened a while ago. They're only throwing a fit NOW and threatening to sue because Berg's new book about his experience in Wikileaks hit the bookstores today.

    Apparently the book alleges that Assange once threatened to kill Berg over their differences, was intensely paranoid and began travelling with bodyguards, and ruled over his followers as an "emperor".
