Best Post on the board -- Blizz never abandons their players ala SWG / SOE I know it will get better until then -- there is always the alt on a european / oceanic server.

Nice post -- just one thing I don't understand. Why is no one worried about what the effect might be on the world climate if even a small percentage of the worlds energy is extracted from winds. Energy is not created it is transferred from one form to another. If you build 100 turbines in a canyon you probably won't lower wind speed noticeably, but if you build 10,000 ?? What effect will lower wind speed have on climates further down wind -- will weather systems tend to stall out over your windmill farm, leading to flooding there and drought elsewhere. Please windpower is not feasible.

There is however another group of Long Term High Paying Customers. It took me until just a few weeks ago to get my first 60. I really enjoy the game but can't due to work, family spend more than an hour -- maybe two a day.

I don't think that I am in a super small minority because I have friends on my server that level as slowly as I do. There are lots of accounts that I know of that have been around since almost the first day but continue to pay our money month after month cause it is fun.

The article says that time > skill which I don't know if I agree with but it would be nice to have the ability to get raid quality gear through a series of solo quests that would take me a year to finish solo or in small groups a chunk at a time that a hardcore could probably get in a week cause they have the time and can gang up on em.

The question is not whether you can use the Tivo without the guide. The question is can you use the Tivo without the guide and store any program you record indefinitely or will it automatically delete via this DRM software they just loaded onto your bought and paid for machine, without your consent?

    In short -- No

If you stop paying for service after a while your TIVO locks up and you cant even record things that you manually program via time and chanell.

Umm didn't they just buy Clarion software -- formerly known as Gator. Isn't a big income source for spyware companies selling email addresses?

I think the beginning of the end happened a long time ago. I let my son (age 11) play D2, which is a M rated game, but there is no way I'd let him play GTA:SA. The ratings are basically meaningless, as a parent I have to review the games he wants to play and then decide. The standards in use by the ESRB are ridiculous.

Over the last couple of days I have read lots of posts railing against "the christian right" calling us sheeple, mindless idiots etc. Isn't this what democracy is about though, people voting for what we believe? We had a choice between two men and we picked the one that most closely reflected our beliefs. This will probably get me flamed and labeled as an idiot, but as one of the "mindless christian idiots" I thank God that we have a president that at least tries to seek guidance from a higher power. So Flame on -- Es ist mir egal.

If people had problems understanding a butterfly ballot in FL in 2000 how do you expect to explain this to someone. Plus one of the first things they say is that we need to get rid of the electoral college. Personally I think the electoral college was genius the way it was developed. It gives those of us who don't live in major metro areas a vote where otherwise we would have none. U.S. Electoral College
