What do you mean "vector based imaging wasn't really feasible in the 70's and 80's"? Vectors were used long before sprites came into use. Remember the vectrex? Why do you think it was called that?
I am a T-Mobile customer, and frankly I'm a bit worried. I've always been very anal about keeping my SSN etc. secret, and now it could potentially be out there in the open and fair game for anyone to use. I called up T-Mobile, but they denied that their systems had ever been compromised.
Does anyone know what I can do to find out more information about this? If my personal information has been compromised, I need to go through the whole new SSN rigmorale. I'd really appreciate it if anyone could give me some advice on how to find out for certain if this has happened.
That's the way ALL mmorpgs (with the exception of SWG) are. Unless you plan on not sticking with the game for much longer, you generally don't have a choice whether or not you want to buy an expansion pack, the choice was made for you by the company making the game.
Only reason SWG is different is because JTL is like an completely different game. What you do in space has almost no connection to the ground game, therefore if you didn't like the space game, you could just ignore the space expansion and still go on playing as you wish.
"If nothing else, after the 'publicity' - if I were the game creator or publisher, I would send this guy and his kid a free authentic copy of the game."
Oh yeah, that's brilliant, give everyone who illegally obtains a game a free copy of a legal version. I can just see the posts over the net:
"I downloaded the French version of Halo 2 before it came out, and now I can't play on XBOX Live. Give me a free copy!"
Anyone remember when the EBGames magazine reviewed Ninja Gaiden months before it came out? When the game REALLY was released, they had an apology and a new review of the game in it's finished state, which mostly consisted of a comparison between the finished game and the build they produced their original review from. WTF?
Isn't everyone forgetting the greatest toy ever? The one always advertised during Ren and Stimpy cartoons? Log!!!
It's log! It's log! It's big it's heavy it's wood!
It's log! It's log! It's better than bad, it's good!
Is it really that good?

Halo 2 Released

Although I won't argue that the original HALO and HALO 2 are superb games, are they really as good as people say they are? I've always felt that HALO was so popular simply because there was little else to play on XBOX. If HALO had come out on Playstation 2, it probably would not have done nearly as well simply because there are so many other games for that system. People who only owned an XBOX didn't really have any other games in the same league to compare it to, and so it immediately became the product to judge all others by.
The lack of titles, both qualitatively and quantitatively, on XBOX unquestionably spurred it's sales. But might it not also have affected the games perception as a whole?
Don't get me wrong, I love these games, but in my mind they're not the phenomenom that the rest of the world says they are.
Was there anything you shot or witnessed during the creation of your documentaries that was just too "hardcore" to put in? Were there things that were just so horrifically nerdy you had no choice but to leave them out? Anything that would alienate everyone except the heartiest star trek fans and alien conspiracy theorists? Was there anything that was just so scary you couldn't possibly put it on film?

As in the Floo Network.

That would explain why there were no votes for Kodos...

I tried to post my complaints about this to Valve on the forums, but it kept on pausing to load every time I turned the corner.
