1. Serve God first (not the flag, not your boss, not the IRS, not your family)
In what brainwashed world is God more important then family? Most people would die to protect their loved ones. Most (sane) people would not die for their god -- although the current situation in the Middle East seems to defy this logic.
I would argue that most truly religious people would die for their god. I know I would - and I'd like to think I'm sane. From a religious standpoint, nothing is more important than God. That's not to say that family isn't important - just that a relationship with an omnipotent being is more so.
That means, us designers who like to use Photoshop or just play games (that don't run on linux that is) can finally put our 64-bit processor to some good use.
I assume you're aware that Photoshop is available for OS X? They've had 64-bit systems for quite a while now (and Photoshop works on Macs).
Something to consider, at least.
Every now and then they mess with the servers, though, so there is some downtime. When it is working, though (which is most of the time) it works beautifully.
Or he could buy a Mac... Tiger's going to have voice support built in (to a greater extent than Panther does), and he gets the benefit (never thought I'd be saying this) of an Apple mouse.
Coincidentally, my dad's friend from work ate dinner with him today, and this came up at the conversation.
Both of the aforementioned men are in the Navy, and our guest knew someone on the Lincoln that day. The "Mission Accomplished" banner was actually meant for the crew members of the ship - they had just finished their nine month stint away from home, and had "accomplished" their mission. It wasn't meant for Bush's visit.
Unless he was mowing the IRS guy's lawn, how in the world was he discovered? I make hundreds of dollars each summer mowing lawns.
I've had it for a while too, which makes me wonder what I'm missing now.

Even cellphones without service plans can call 911 - so I see a bruised accident victim successfully completing an emergency call.

What happens when someone cuts off your fingers to get access?
How sturdy are they?
Flickr is also cross platform and cross browser.

Like a few others have said, I highly recommend Flickr.
I have a paid account, and it's well worth the money. It's the only online service I've ever paid for, and I don't regret it.
You can check out my photos if you want. Interested in what's going on in a Science and Tech magnet high school?
Perhaps God is outside of time?
Flipping through time like a book, backwards and forwards and maybe looking at every page at once (take the bindings out).
Perhaps.
As far as I know, Best Buy already offers something very similar to that.
I don't know the details, but I saw something in a store once.
I love Google...
What else is new?
I'm not sure what you did in high school, but this sounds more like 6th grade writing. Even the ninth graders at my school would laugh at this.
Actually... many people do. I know I have.

In my area, the grading scale would be
10 bugs = A
9 bugs = B+
8 bugs = C+
7 bugs = D+
6 bugs or below = Fail

That is funking awesome!

Will the madness never end?
*sigh*
I can never win...

Why not put those CPU cycles to good use with something like Folding@Home?
Excuse my ignorance, but what are extremely large primes used for?

Although getting one machine infected to start this could be difficult.
Assuming a cracker has a Mac to develop the virus on, he could just seed it with that.
I'm not even going to bother trying to understand that...
Ok... I concede defeat. Major combat operations have ended on Slashdot... (crosses fingers)
I was just passing along the dinnertime conversation - apparently no one in my family has done their research.

I'm not saying it wasn't used by Bush to mean we were finished in Iraq - just that that was not it's original intent.
