    The goal is to get the best software for the lowest price. The best way to get that is to allow for competition.
    Great soundbite, bad logic, shit policy.

    Price is a tricky thing, because it can be subsidised from capital or savings. At least until the competitors' savings have run out.

    Predatory pricing. There's probably something on them there interwebs about it.

    To eliminate them, we must recognise them. If we recognise them, then they wouldn't exist because if we recognised them we'd return a not guilty verdict.

    It can't tell you whether kinetic energy is 1/2 mv^2, mv^2 or 42mv^2 - all are dimensionally correct. It can tell you that it isn't mv^3.

    Many fundamental equations of physics can be correctly arrived at simply by manipulating units.
    Not really, since it doesn't allow for dimensionless constants. What it certainly can do - and this is still valuable - is tell you when your equation is wrong and you should go back to the drawing board.

    Yeah, at the expense of the people who brought the band to you, who organised the tour, and who got them where they are today.
    If the band are any good those will be the band itself or (particularly in the case of the tour) someone subcontracted by the band. Sorry to piss on your fruit and flowers but I'm not sure who's being undeservedly cut out in that scenario.

    Assuming that he isn't immortal - for which there is empirical evidence - it would have happened anyway. It's just a question of when.

    For suitably small values of "one or more", "overrun" and in particular "sentient".
