Well... it is in a global pollution sense, but it's not the problem with the auto industry.
The problem with the auto industry is that they're selling $40,000 rip-off SUVs and still not making a profit.
How is this possible? Where does all the money go? They should among be the richest companies in the world but they're constantly on the verge of bankruptcy.
That's what they said about the Lord Of The Rings but it didn't turn out too bad, even though anal types still go on and on about how "unfaithful" it is.
What's REALLY needed is a law which prohibits the storing of people's credit card numbers. The only people who need access to your credit card info are you and your bank.
That would moot this stupid patent, but who cares.
Yep, I've seen this a million times. They really, honestly don't see the "fuzzy". Don't worry about setting a lower resolution, they prefer it that way.
They can only "upgrade" Linux if they have the root password.
Guess what the solution is...?
The real problem with Linux right now is flash support. Adobe are supposedly pulling their finger out but make sure you have the latest version of flash before deploying anything.
Do you think this wireless charger will be cheap? How about we mandate a standard size plug and smarter chargers instead? You'd need less chargers so they wouldn't cost more overall.
And... if we made the connector a decent one we wouldn't be fiddling around with all those stupid, fragile microscopic connectors the 'phone people are foisting on us.
If you want to save the planet, let's start making things that last.

The opposite example would be Judge Dredd - where the director obviously had no clue what it was that made the comics worth reading.
There's these things called "lawyers" which mean you can't use an idea without paying royalties.
And ... if you're going to pay royalties for using an idea, you might as well use the name as well. That way people know what you're on about.

Paperless shouldn't even be attempted.
This is the system used to elect leaders. Trillions of dollars and millions lives are affected by election results.
Whatever system you choose must have full audit capabilities ... and that means paper.
The only reason for using electronics is to get faster results to those with short attention spans.

Um, he's got bad eyesight so he won't see the "bad". No, honestly. He won't.

They won't see the "fuzzy", trust me on this one...
Yes... but don't let the Pesky Facts interfere with a good lawyering.
A capacitor has the ability for almost all braking energy to be fed back into it.
In stop-go traffic this could make a massive difference in mileage compared to a conventional battery.
FM is old "casette tape" technology. I'm using 21st century mp3s!
The only one that needs removing is Rick Astley's "Never gonna give you up".
I just hold a microphone up to the speakers and record the song using Windows Sound Recorder.
It's very easy to do and the sound quality is perfectly acceptable because I only listen on the bus.
Can't that be fixed by better wiring?
I'm sure the cell phone engineers aren't idiots, the impedance mismatches in existing phones will be minimal.
No engineer would ever think of that - the water is miles away!
...and there's definitely no heated football fields in the "developed" world, right?
Keep on driving those SUVs - that's what's ruining your economy and feeding theirs.
This should be kept as public as possible, suing grannies, etc. is good for the world, if not the individuals.
Now it will all be insidious, underground, paying off lawmakers and ISPs. Things will be worse.
I got mine in LIDL. Wait for them to come around again...
Why is wireless better than a standardized docking station?
Seems to me a docking station would always be cheaper AND more efficient than a wireless setup.
The only difference to the user would be that you have to line it up neatly when you lay it on the charging pad. Would that inconvenience anybody?
"these chargers are cheap" - you nailed it.

Just came here to say "Das Reboot" in a random place.
